On when to learn MA

That's a good middle ground. I was going to do that before I decided it was more elegant to jeer at people who learned secret styles before learning a single basic martial arts Charm. :)

[[ Or, rather, because it seemed to me that you could pick up the first secret Charms before learning a complete tree, but that mandating going to a Form-type Charm first would encourage people to do it in exactly that order---rather than thinking about when a good time to get the secret styles Charms is, they'd grab a Form to "let" them get to the secret styles, then grab a bunch of secret style Charms, then grumblingly go back to the main tree, then get the secret Form. I figured that the psychology was more likely to work to my advantage if I just left it open---either you grab one early and that's your "trick", because it's awfully expensive and you don't have enough MA to work with, really . . . or you grab one when you and your sifu realize that it's time. ]]
