Attacks made with the Bookmark of ends are treated as though the wielder were under the effect of Spirit Cutting Attack for all intends and purpose. 4dots Artifact.

Stories End: Bookmark of Knowledge wields the ability to end any and all stories, and therefor Mortals, Mundane weapons and armor will like their wearer End with time. Bookmark of Knowledge's Ultimate ability lies in its ability to destroy Mundane weapons and armor on impact. Meaning everytime Bookmark of knowledge successfully hits and inflict damage on someone who is wearing Mundane equipment, reduce soak levels by the wielders Melee or Martial arts, depending on which he uses. Should this battle drag out and the soak levels of the attacked item reach zero or less, that would result in the item being destroyed, beyond repair, however for all intends & purpose the wear of damage armor is still dragging him down, until he rids himself of the damage armor. On the other hand. Should someone be foolish enough to delay their end by means of parrying with their weak mundane weapons, the same effect applies to weapons, however since weapons don't have soak levels the weapon blocking the way for the Bookmark of Knowledge shatters into splinters, utterly destroying the Mortal crafted weapon. 5Dots Artifact

The Book of Ends:

Shift: The ability to transform the Book of Ends into a Tower shield, to defend the wielder from those that seek his end.

Record: This ability allows the Book of ends to collect the infomation gathered by the Bookmark of Knowledge and record it into the book. More info about this ability in the lore and description of the Artifacts. 3dots Artifact.

Spell Shattering Bulwark: In times of great need the wielder of The Book of Ends may resort to this ability. By placing your hope and trust in the spirit within the Book, the wielder is granted the ability to negate the harm done to him by an incoming spell. This however does not mean that the area around him is protected in the same fashion, meaning that spells like Flight of the brilliant Raptor still scorches the area around him. 4dots Artifact.

Original Wielder: Prince of the Azure Roses was the first wielder of these items and was said to have been a fair leader of his kingdom. He used the knowledge of his victims to judge weather they deserved to be send back home to their loved ones, or not with wisdom in his heart weather the fallen were friend or foe. All received fair judgement, and not a day went by that knowledge obtained from the Book of Ends did not burden him. For with this it was said he knew, all about the reasons of those who fell before him, for picking up arms. And like him many had a justified cause, and loving families waiting at home. Some say the reason he kept reading the Book of Ends over, and over was to ensure that these poor souls whose lives he has ended never truly fade. For they would live on inside his heart and mind untill his passing, at which point he made sure they his death was at the hands of his own weapon. So that he too, may have been added to the sorrowful pages of The Book of Ends.

Alignment: Players going for good characters would probably use it to track infomation in order to send back remains and send regrets to the families that are left alone, and perhaps offer a prayer to the man whose life he has just ended, where as players going for the evil characters would delightfully laugh at the sorrows he now knows he has inflicted upon a now lone mother with three children who were barely able to live with the money they made from the now dead husbands job, or to seek out this said family and inflict torment and death upon them as well.

Artifact Descriptions: Book of the Ends is an Artifact that comes in a set with bookmark. The Bookmark can transform itself into an Slashing sword of Great Offensive power that upon slaying a sentient being, draws out his personal infomation from his sword, by making use of the least god watching over the blade, storing that infomation within the blade. The Book itself holds the ability to transform into a shield of equal terms of defensive power as its sister blade wields in offense. When both return to being book and a bookmark, and are placed together.(Putting the Bookmark within the book.) The stored infomation obtained from bookmark in its sword form is transfered to the book, through the least gods maintaining the set, writing down the infomation on that person into the book, so the attuned wielder of the set may read though details regarding his victums, such as: A picture, name, age, weight, height, fate, their last thoughts and generally life infomation about his life, untill you came along and added another page. Book of Ends Lore

Characters with dots in Int, Lore & Occult can research The Book of Ends to learn more about it, though rumors and other forms of study. When a character makes the check / Roll, read or paraphrase the following, including information from lower Difficulty rates.

Difficulty: 10 Its an Artifact crafted in the Age of sorrows, by a Solar Circle of the east, for the Prince of Azure roses, who wished for a way of knowning his enemies last thoughts, and a way to track their loved ones to give them his regrets and pass on his belongings, and last thoughts.
Difficulty: 15 The book itself can transform into a shield that protects the wielder in battle, and holds the last thoughts of its victims written in Old Realm upon its surfaces.
Difficulty: 20 The Bookmark within the book can also transform itself into a Sword, which is how the Book of ends gains its infomation of those falling before the wielder, the least god gets ahold of the souls before they depart to the underworld or reincarnation and extracts all the infomation from there. Once the bookmark is returned to be within the book, the two least gods maintaining the items commune with one another and transfer the infomation into the book. (And all the infomation from rolls requreing less successes.
