It's not easy to be a sea-reaver. The Realm cracked down on this nation long ago, turning it into a tributary state and sometimes limiting its raids against its neighbors. They forced them to act as naval auxillaries.
But now, Erick the Bold has earned his name by baking the Satrap in the oven and making dog-sausages for his pets out of her. There can be no turning back. He has begun launching raids in the name of the Boo of the North, though he has no formal affiliation...he's hoping to earn it by showing he's TOUGH.
Warriors flock to his banner, eager to escape the boredom of farm life or to escape raids from the Beer-Drinker tribes stirring to the north of them.
An age of glory or humiliation in this land is about to begin.
