Helping Goddess (Resistance)

Disaster Survival Protocol

  • Prerequisite Charms: Basic Resistance Protocol

The Hard Ware are called in to fix broken things. But sometimes they get caught in the middle of the breaking. They can roll Dex + Resistance in order to evade injury at the hands of any sudden malfunctions, earthquakes, fires, spontaneous combustion, etc. This charm can be used even if the danger catches you by surprise. Difficulty varies by how all-encompassing the catastrophe is.


Disaster Survival Protocol

  • Type: Speech
  • Minimum Resistance: 3
  • Minimum Moe: 2
  • Prerequisite Charms: Disaster Survival Protocol

Sometimes, Goddesses must operate in very hostile environments. Roll Stamina + Resistance against difficulty 3 to resist any sort of hostile environment--extremes of temperature, puddles of acid, etc.


Skin-Hardening Method

  • Cost: 5 motes
  • Duration: One Scene
  • Type: Speech
  • Minimum Resistance: 3
  • Minimum Moe: 2
  • Prerequisite Charms: Disaster Survival Protocol

Sometimes, Hard Ware have to go into battle. Armor gets in the way of battle, so they prefer to armor up when they have to. Roll Stamina + Resistance; add each success to your soak for one scene. This also lets you parry lethal attacks unarmed and your unarmed attacks do lethal damage if you want them to.


Attack-Glitching Technique

  • Cost: 4 motes, 1 WP
  • Duration: Instant
  • Type: Re-Fun
  • Minimum Resistance: 4
  • Minimum Moe: 3
  • Prerequisite Charms: Skin-Hardening Method

You now learn how to hack the Ultimate System's damage protocols to lessen or negate potential damage entirely. Roll Stamina + Resistance, with a difficulty of the Moe of the person attacking you. If you succeed, you take no damage from the attack. If you fail, reduce the damage by the number of successes you scored.


Poison-Diluting Protocol

  • Cost: 3 motes
  • Duration: Instant
  • Type: Re-Fun
  • Minimum Resistance: 2
  • Minimum Moe: 1
  • Prerequisite Charms: Basic Resistance Protocol

Drink enough liquid and you can eventually flush anything out of your system if you don't mind living in the bathroom. Roll your Stamina + Resistance; divide the amount of time a poison continues to effect you by your successes +1.


Immunization Protocol

  • Cost: 5 motes
  • Duration: One Scene
  • Type: Speech
  • Minimum Resistance: 3
  • Minimum Moe: 2
  • Prerequisite Charms: Poison-Diluting Protocol

For one scene, you are immune to disease and infections; if you are sick, no symptoms manifest, if you are well, you can't get sick. Diseases whose difficulty to resist exceeds your Resistance + Moe can bypass this protection.


Burn Out Disease

  • Cost: 2 motes, 1 WP
  • Duration: Instant
  • Type: Speech
  • Minimum Resistance: 4
  • Minimum Moe: 3
  • Prerequisite Charms: Immunization Protocol

Roll Stamina + Resistance. If you match the normal difficulty to resist whatever is making you sick, you burn it out of your body.


Vomit-Inducing Protocol

  • Cost: 6 motes
  • Duration: Instant
  • Type: Re-Fun
  • Minimum Resistance: 3
  • Minimum Moe: 2
  • Prerequisite Charms: Poison-Diluting Protocol

Roll Stamina + Resistance; if you match the normal difficulty of resisting the poison's effects, you puke it all up and it stops affecting you in any way.
