This is a prosperous nation, warmer than the frozen lands north of it, spreading out along the warming waters of the Inland sea, a land reknowned for its production of fine beverages. They grow a mixture of grains, fruits, and grapes, from which they produce beverages, and import sugar and coffee and tea for production of sweet drinks, fine coffees, and magnificent tea blends.

Everyone is an expert at beverage production, consumption, and going to the bathroom very frequently. They also have some skill at mining and metalworking and especially at glass blowing for bottling drinks.

Each five years, the top ten rated wineries vote and pick a new Master Vintner from their ranks, who will rule for a decade. He must rule in conjunction with the council of nine, made up of the other nine masters who didn't get elected.

Cherricola has been a Tributary of the Realm for centuries, under the peaceful rule of House Lemarchand. However, now Lemarchand has upped the demands for tribute paid in drinks, and it's causing the nation to go thirsty. Unrest is growing, and something uncute is bound to happen.

Cherricolan soldiers are noted for being terrible at fighting due to drunkeness, unless the enemy has enough alcohol, in which case, NOTHING ON THE FACE OF CREATION will stop them from getting to it.
