Black Cloud Wings of Protection

The spell covers the recipient in a layer of onyx cloud in the shape of a set of wings that conceals most of the body. Those who would dare attack someone so blessed are subjected to the hypnotic effects of these wings. In addition this spell punishes any who are lacking in virtue by striking them with twin bolts of lightning from the tips of the wings.

Anyone attacking the recipient must make a Willpower + Temperance roll against a difficulty equal to the loremaster's essence rating each turn until addiction sets in. Addicted character's must spend a willpower each turn they wish to attack. Anyone who can see the wings are also at +1 difficulty to all normal dice actions. When anybody botches a virtue roll suffient to set the devouring wings off they are struck twice by Teeth of the World (which uses up the essence gained).

Re-uses dodgy Essence Channeler trick though in this case it is purely there to provide the spell with an essence pool. It could be argued that this isn't required since the essence is being used up as soon as it is gained. - Talion
