Appearance:
Thin and lithe, Momiji has the grace and poise of a willow tree. Her skin is a radiant golden-bronze, the color of sweet maple syrup, hence the source of one of her names. Sleek red hair frames her face, as if the edges of if it are a leaf experieancing the first cold touch of autumn. Such an exotic appearance is likely a product of her Western breeding mixing with the Fire aspects of Sesus nobility to make her an appealing spectacle. Momiji has many different outfits, but all feature several winding golden sashes and flowing scarlet sleeves.
Background (Not Complete)
Born the daughter of a well-known courtesan of House Sesus, Momiji was a simple minded girl who loved nothing more than to ease the suffering of others through the arts, much like her mother before her. With the powers of the Imperial Court fading with every day, it always seemed like bad news was never in short supply... and it was to this task that she set herself to with innocent zeal. Dance was her weapon, one she honed to near mortal perfection.
It was during the finale of an extremely long outdoor performance, that Momiji experienced the ultimate Zen moment. For a brief time she seemed to touch the Sun, and was looking down on the entire world's sorrow all at once. The warmth of the Unconquered Sun flowed into her, showing her a fragment of the bliss that the world had experienced during the First Age. A burning passion within suddenly overwhelmed Momiji's soul, as a voice which was hers but not hers cried out from her mind -- "The ones who have birthed this painful Age shall soon know retribution!"
At first some thought the pyrotechnics were just a part of the act, but the more wise among her patrons knew exactly what had occured - and summoned the guards with haste onto the stage. Somehow she managed to escape...
