Mi'Chen
Auspicuous Diamond Daughters
Being a daughter of a Solar General, she was ... protected. She was held inside deep in her studies most of the time. She never got out to see how her father's kingdom was decaying. She was forced into learning martial arts, arcane arts, calligraphy, and at least 2 instraments. Her father wanted her to be prepared to take up his mantle. She was raised like any other female heir to the old realm. She was born with an identical twin sister. Ju'Chen was also kept for studies. But her spirit would not be broken by their father's demanding nature. She often skipped class to run free and play like children should. Mi'chen and Ju'chen didn't see eye to eye about these things. While Ju'chen would rather be out playing, Mi'chen obeyed their father and kept with her studies.
Family
Her father was a general, who didn't have time for his children, except once in a while he'd come home ask how their studies went and then was gone again. Her mother, a lunar concubine to the general, stayed home more often than him and often watched over the children. Michen has a identical twin sister and they are the oldest, and both exalted as eclipse. She also has two younger brothers, neither exalted yet.
Exaltation
Mi'chen and Ju'chen exalted at the same time and it was obvious from then on that they were very closely linked. Mi'chen was obediently attending school, and Ju'chen was outside playing wih other children their age. The exalted in a time of unity. They were speaking the same words, and the sun chose to bless them then.
Since Exaltation
Even though they exalted together and in a spiritual sence were closer than ever, their lives since exaltation could not be further apart. Mi'chen was ushured off to court to learn her coming role as an Eclipse. Ju'chen stayed with their father and played his personal leaison. Mi'chen was assigned to an older eclipse and she followed him for years learning the ways around the court and great halls of the solars. It was quickly discovered that she was well adapted for her role and required little teaching after exaltation. She was given mostly free reign for the better part of a year before she was called away.
Being paired up with her first circle, she wasn't sure how to take it, since her sister would not be bound as well...
Appearance
She is tall and athletically built. Her hair that is a deep purple, is long, like it hasn't been cut since she was a child. Her features are strong, but not unattractive. She has a certain exotic quality to her looks. She is dressed in a kinono of fine silk with a fine silk obe to match. This is her courtly wares and often wears them outside of court. For combat, though she is completely competent while fighting in a kimono, she wears a gi made of light cotton that flows with her body as she moves freely in her practiced katas.
