The Scar

Background: On the city-ship of the Denzik merchants, an Exalt hides in the shadows. He keeps to the darkness and to himself, but when the flotilla is threatened he steps out of the shadows to directly engage the threat. Some Denzik believe he hides among them out of shame for some past misdeed, but no one knows for sure.

Background: He was born in the Threshold but adopted by a Great House after his Exaltation. To prove himself worthy, he fervently embraced both the Immaculate faith and Dynastic culture. His dreams of legitimacy ended when an anathema castrated him, earning him the shameful nickname "Eunuch Admiral" and making him unsuitable for marriage. At the Empress' orders, he took a large merchant fleet deep into the West, beyond stable reality and almost into the Wyld itself. When he returned, the Empress was gone.
