Palm Gem of the Inquisitors

Appearance
The palm gem appears as a soulsteel gauntlet with brutally stylized ridges. Within the palm of the gauntlet there is a gem of clear adamant. When in use, a large projection of soulsteel extends from behind and through the palm into the unfortunate target's head. On a successful use, the gem casts a pale white light while the gauntlet twists with shadows. This is one of the Soulsteel caste's greatest treasures, and it is not requisitioned lightly.

Effects
The Palm Gem mimics the following charms: Sustained Augmentation of Manipulation, Mind-Ripping Probe, Personality Overrride Spike and Motivational Vocorder.
When activated at a cost of 4 motes and 1 willpower, the probe buries into the target's head. An opposed roll of Manipulation + essence is made between the bearer and the target. If the target wins, the bearer gains no useful information. If the bearer wins, he obtain one memory or the answer to one question of his choice for every success more than the target's. He may also make personality revisions at the standard cost.
