Inherent Power - Alchemical Integration
In short: Alchemical scrutinizes an item for hours equal to (Resource) rating (or a whole day for Artifact 1~3, and two days for Artifact 4~5.) Then, the Exalts spends a point of Willpower. The item in question is subsumed into the Exalt's system, and it becomes available to her whenever it is needed. By spending (Item's Resource) motes of Essence and rolling the Exalt's Essence rating (Difficulty 1,) the Alchemical may bring forth the item from her Arsenal. For Artifacts, the cost to summon it is (Artifact rating x 3) and the difficulty of the Essence roll is equal to its rating. If the roll fails, the Alchemical may spend a point of Willpower or three motes to continue rolling. Summoning an item is a reflexive action and summoning an Artifact is a simple action.
Presentation Format
It is identical with Charm presentation format described in Exalted: the Autochthonians excepting Installation Cost.
Alchemical Charm Limitation
Alchemical Charms that enhance the Exalt's Attribute is, at best, limited by its base. No Alchemicals Charms that add to the Exalt's dice pool may not more than double the Attribute it is based upon. Also, there are Alchemical Charms that decrease Difficulty of a roll, displaying their terrible efficiency. These Charms may not decrease the Difficulty of roll below 1, or in case of competition, the target's Essence rating.
Combos
Alchemical Charms are based on Attributes, and like Lunars and Lesser Alchemicals, they can be comboed regardless of whether they belong in one trait or not. However, they are still under influece of timing and compatability rules.
Alchemicals may adapt Charms of Lesser Alchemicals, but these Charms may not be comboed with her own Charms due to difference in structure. However, Alchemicals are still allowed use of Arrays.
