Making a ranged attack lets a target roll at diff 1 to detect, melee detection is automatic. At ess 4, the charms effect's grow. near-perfect invis while moving slowly/hiding (diff Ess ranged, diff 1 melee detect), and allows +Essence to detection difficulties at speed.
