Glimpse the Maidens' Loom
Cost: 3/6 motes per success Duration: Instant Type: Supplimental Min Occult: 3 Min Essence: 2 Prereqs: None
The fortunes of all who live are written in the stars. While the assignment of fate is the domain of the Maidens and their Chosen, this Charm allows Solar astrologers to read the strands of fate with incredible accuracy. The character may, after rolling his Intelligence + Occult, buy additional successes at a cost of 3 motes per success. This Charm may be used to help read the stars of the Underworld, but the Solar's disconnection from the living Essence of Creation increases the cost. In the Underworld, the cost is 6 motes per success. Use of this Charm does not negate the need to ascertain the pertinent details of the target's life in order to make the astrology roll in the first place.
The Heavens Laid Bare
Cost: 5 motes Duration: Instant Type: Simple Min Occult: 5 Min Essence: 3 Prereqs: Glimpse the Maidens' Loom
Through the use of this Charm, the Exalt may read the fortunes of any person he can clearly identify. Gazing into the stars, the Exalt states the name or title of a person, no matter how distant, and may immediately make an Intelligence + Occult roll to divine their future. Unlike standard astrology rolls the Solar need not know anything about the life of his target beforehand. This functions as well in the Underworld as it does in Creation, though the astrology roll suffers the standard difficulties when used in the lands of the dead.
