The fury of the Lawgivers is not easily denied. Staving off the fulfillment of their anger for a time serves only to make it more painful when it arrives. The weapon of a Solar using this charm glows more brightly with each attack denied.
Whenever a Solar fails to connect with a foe due to charm backed defenses (ie, the attack would have hit had the target not used a reflexive charm of some sort), she may commit a mote to this charm reflexively, to a maximum of (Essence * Melee) motes committed. These motes remain committed until the next time the Lawgiver connects with an attack that has even a single die of post soak damage remaining in step 8 of attack resolution. At this point the essence committed to this charm erupts from the point of impact in a brilliant gout of Solar flame. Increase the post soak damage by the number of motes committed to this charm. This effect is non voluntary, and does not count as a charm activation, all motes committed to this charm are released at this point. The mote commitment fades at the end of the scene regardless of whether or not a successful strike was landed.
The glow of the weapon applies an internal penalty to any stealth attempts equal to the number of motes committed. This is explicitly allowed to reduce the die pool below the Solar's Essence.
