This progressive charm has the same attack mechanics as Sandstorm-Wind Attack (Exalted, page 165), but the character can make a number of attacks equal to her Permanent Essence against a single opponent in a turn without extra action penalties.

This progressive charm has the same attack mechanics as Sandstorm-Wind Attack (Exalted, page 165), but the character can make a single attack against each of a number of opponents equal to her Permanent Essence in a turn without extra action penalties.
Edge of the Whirlwind
Cost: 12 motes, 1 willpower Duration: Instant Type: Simple Minimum Melee: 4 Minimum Essence: 4 Prerequisite Charms: Breath of the Blade, Steel Wind Caress
Essence flows lazily around the character in golden arcs as he slowly grips the handle of his sword and bows his head, he goes preternaturally still, the essence around him freezes and cracks. And then in a synergized, savage motion, his head whips up, his sword comes out whispering from it's sheath, and the essence around him bursts outward in a rush of wind toward his foes. The character rolls to attack with his Dexterity + Melee dice pool and does a base lethal damage of his Strength + Essence + whatever successes he gets from his attack roll. This attack simultaneously affects all (or specifically targeted) opponents within a 360 degree radius of Permanent Essence yards. This attack is blocked as a ranged attack, not a melee attack.
