The vast expanse of the oceans are wide and open to the penetrating light of the Unconquered Sun, and thus the Lawgivers should find no impediment in the embrace of the water. This Charm enhances a Solar's ability to swim, increasing his normal Move action speed in the water to that of his Dash action on land (Dex + 6). In addition, when diving underwater, the Solar's capacity for breath is increased, making him capable of holding his breath for twice as long as usual. At Essence 3 or higher, the character may spend one additional mote of Essence for each extra minute he wishes to remain submerged, up to a maximum of his Permanent Essence rating.

This Charm enhances the Solar's abilities while swimming or completely submerged in water, allowing her to ignore up to her Permanent Essence in external penalties for the purpose of a single action. This can be any action, from attacking an inquisitive sea predator, to picking something heavy up off of the bottom of a riverbed.
