Rules and Rants

For my writings on what I would improve in Exalted, from the small scale (house rules or specific charm revisions) to the large (combat revisions, Sidereal revisions, etc.). Also includes various musings on the game itself, from how I think certain charms interact or how to twink something.

  • House Rules: A general listing of minor revisions and edits to the canon Exalted game, nothing major. This is not where I rewrite the game.
  • 15 Abilities: Sometimes I think Exalted would be better with 15 abilities; here's why.
  • Dragon-Blooded: I think Dragon-Blooded should be less ability-focused and more element-focused. Also, down with Breeding!
  • Lunars: A new take on Lunars in the setting; mostly fluff, but maybe some new charm guidelines also.
  • Sidereals: A new take on Sidereals in the setting; mostly fluff at first, but also some mechanical 'guidelines' for charms and (maybe) astrology, though I doubt I'll get around to actually writing new crunch.
  • Alchemicals: I love Alchemicals, but I think their Charms could be improved; here's some general ideas and ideas I had for that.
  • New Excellency System: I have a couple of ideas about Excellencies across Exalt-types.
