Evasion

Pack-Saving Method
Cost: 2 motes
Duration: Instant
Type: Reflexive
Minimum Dexterity: 2
Minimum Essence: 2
Prerequisite Charms: None
Using his superhuman speed, a Lunar with this charm may dodge any attack he is aware for an ally within twice his Permanent Essence in yards. This is a Dodge attempt at the Lunar’s full pool, and even one success already changes the target of the attack from the original to the Lunar. If the Lunar botches, however, both him and the target take the attack, and may make no further active defense against it. The shielded character cannot decline the Lunar's help. The Lunar does not need to roll to simply defend the shielded character if he does not intend to Dodge it himself - in that instance the Lunar simply takes the defendant's place in the attack resolution.

The The Lunar moves with the supple grace of green reeds, charging his body with essence to enhance his Dodges, able to be offensive and defensive in ways no human could ever be. Activation of this charm grants the Lunar a full dodge pool for the turn, starting at his full Dexterity+Dodge pool(As if the Lunar had received an extra action in the turn, which can only be used to abort to a full dodge maneuver).

This Charm can only be used once per turn and so the Lunar cannot refresh this pool.

Bending Before the Storm
Cost: None
Duration: Permanent
Type: Special
Minimum Dexterity: 3
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: Bowing Reed Method
Mobility and agility are innate characteristics of the Lunar Exalted, who can use them to considerable effect when seeking to avoid damage, never tiring, never losing a whit of their grace, even if cornered or during the most violent onslaughts. This Charm permanently enhances the Lunar's Dodge abilities. Forever after she ignores the penalties for successive Dodges when making a Full Dodge, becoming able to defend against all attacks with her full Dexterity+Dodge pool, and is able to Dodge even if she has no room to maneuver - the Lunar bends and flows around the enemy's attacks, dodging even if she has her feet held by the ground in a suffocatingly narrow alley.

Dancing Winds Instinct
Cost: 8 motes, 1 willpower
Duration: One Scene
Type: Simple
Minimum Dexterity: 4
Minimum Essence: 4
Prerequisite Charms: Bending Before the Storm
The Lunar’s ephemeral nature is heightened as he shifts his body to assume the stance of a wind of quicksilver – his movements mercurial, like a dream, always there, never there, barely noticing what comes for him and simply brushing threats aside without any effort. For the remainder of the scene, the Lunar converts a number of dice equal to his Dexterity into automatic successes in any dodge attempt.

Flowing Body Evasion
Cost: 8 motes
Duration: Instant
Type: Reflexive
Minimum Dexterity: 4
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: Bowing Reed Method
Suffusing her body with essence, the Lunar lets her form go. She moves faster than she possibly should, because her body is not quite there, moving in the air like ripples in the water, without weight, with a form that flows out of all harm's way... and even if harm finds it, it simply opens up for it. The Lunar rolls Dexterity+Dodge as a reflexive action. One success allows her a Perfect Dodge against a single attack. Three successes allow this Dodge to defend even against attacks with an Area of Effect or who are otherwise Undodgeable.

Ground-Denying Defense
Cost: 2 motes per enemy
Duration: Instant
Type: Reflexive
Minimum Dexterity: 2
Minimum Essence: 2
Prerequisite Charms: Bowing Reed Method
Sometimes, prey may find its lair, turning the tables on the hunter and overwhelming him with numbers! But a cunning hunter can choose his battles and dictate fight many as few. In clear terrain, five opponents can attack a single target in a turn. With the Lunar's mastery of movement and mobility, a Lunar can use the terrain and his opponent's own actions to limit the number of attackers he faces in any given turn. Every 2 motes spent, the Lunar reduces the number of people able to attack him in a single turn by one, minimum one. The exact effect depends on the moment - if used after one has struck, no others can do so; If used before any can attack, others may hold their attack so only their chosen one will.

Wind-Dancing Method
Cost: 4 motes
Duration: Instant
Type: Reflexive
Minimum Dexterity: 4
Minimum Essence: 2
Prerequisite Charms: Ground-Denying Defense
Simply defending attack may not be enough to keep an Exalt from harm... but with the understanding of how to move perfectly, comes the ability to do so freely through even the air, moving away from the enemy's strikes, to where he cannot be followed! If doding, the Lunar just steps away from the blow, but when parrying, he might use the force of the parried blow to be sent away from it! By using this Charm, after successfully defending against an attack, she can move up to her Dexterity+Dodge in yards in any direction, even up in the air, treading on invisible steps to safety. The Lunar may move so even if he has already used up all his movement in this turn. This is a Hopping Defense, but to follow it may require more than simple movement if the Lunar moves too far up.

Hornets-and-Hive Technique

Duration: Permanent
Type: Special
Minimum Dexterity: 4
