Herd Reinforcement Posture
Cost: 4 motes, 1 willpower
Duration: Instant
Type: Simple
Minimum Charisma: 4
Minimum Essence: 2
Prerequisite Charms: Ascendant Charisma
Lunars shape societies, strenghtening them as appropriate. With it, the Lunar creates fervor and pride in the society for a specific institution or group of people within the society, or a new society with whom they are exposed to, and makes them protect and cherish it! They will be hard-pressed to be convinced to abandon or break it. Any social action to go against it has its difficulty increased by the Lunar's Essence, and the people of the kingdom can always channel their virtues to protect it! The Lunar rolls Charisma+Essence with a difficulty equal to the willpower of the group's leader, plus 1 for a village, 3 for a city, 5 for a territory, 6 for a large nation and 7 for a whole Empire. A member of the affected community may spend a point of willpower to ignore the effects of this Charm for a scene, but only when she has paid 1 willpower for every success the Lunar achieved in the roll will they be free of its grasp.

Forsaking the Blood Posture

Prerequisite Charms: Herd Reinforcement Posture
This Charm is the reverse of Herd Reinforcement Posture, and enhances it. Instead of making them be in favor of the group, proud and protective, the people may instead be turned against the group with a successful use Herd Reinforcement Posture. Its benefits will instead be for any action trying to defend the culture, and will easily lead to ostracism or war. They become steadfast antagonist to the relevant culture, rationalizing it in any way they like.

Creating the Wolf Attitude

Type: Simple
Minimum Manipulation: 4
Minimum Essence: 2
Prerequisite Charms: Ascendant Manipulation
Lunars can tell people what to feel. This Charm creates a fear within a group of people, be they a tribe, cult, company or kingdom. The character must have spent several hours in the past year encouraging the desired belief on this group before using this Charm, and this Charm must be invoked in the presence of at least one member of this group. The Lunar rolls Manipulation+Socialize with a difficulty equal to the willpower of the group's leader, plus 1 for a village, 3 for a city, 5 for a territory, 6 for a large nation and 7 for a whole Empire. A member of the affected community may spend a point of willpower to ignore the effects of this Charm for a scene, but only when she has paid 1 willpower for every success the Lunar achieved in the roll will they be free of its grasp. The nature of the fear is up to the Lunar.

Lunar Exalted can encourage lust for life! This Charm enhances Creating the Wolf Attitude, allowing the Lunar to be more creative with it, triggering emotions of Craving within the populace. This can be a general emotion, causing the social group affected to indulge whatever lusts or hungers occur to it, or a specific indulgence, such as food, love, conquest or Haslanti tapestries.

Lunars shape cultures by removing or dictating weaknesses. The Lunar rolls Manipulation+Socialize with a difficulty equal to the willpower of the group's leader, plus 1 for a village, 3 for a city, 5 for a territory, 6 for a large nation and 7 for a whole Empire. If successful, the Lunar gets to dictate a part of the society, such as an institution, a custom or suchlike, that becomes less valued, and falls by the wayside. It will receive less attention, less benefits, if applicable, and if nothing is done, vanish in a few months or years. Any social action against it receives a number of successes equal to the Lunar's Essence. A member of the affected community may spend a point of willpower to ignore the effects of this Charm for a scene, but only when she has paid 1 willpower for every success the Lunar achieved in the roll will they be free of its grasp.
