BACKGROUND
An earth aspect in a house of scholars and historians Heef can be described as a very organized and studious person (ie a "neat-freak"). Heef enjoyed a rather typical childhood for a member of House Ledaal. Even his exaltation was uneventful, having a dream on the night that he was climbing the Imperal Mountain and apon reaching the top he awoke to find himself surronded in an anima shining like a gemstone. He had a very stable life until last year. During a summoning exercise a demon escaped and killed the summoner. Heef, who was standing guard for his friend and classmate was barely able to survive, let alone save his friend. Only his familiar and an ability he didnt know he had saved him. Both his failure to save his friend and the discovery that he has demon blood has caused him deep shame and guilt. His body is cured, but his soul is still scarred.

Dear Heef,
I am sorry that nether your father or I could be there to see you off but we both had duties that required we be away. I am shure you understand. I hope you do not suffer any more difficulties this year, after the hunting accadent the faculty at the Heptagram was very generous in allowing you the time off to recover. You father was so grateful he volunteered some of his time at the school and gave a few lectures to the upper classmen. I would appreciate it if you did you best to be a model student this year and remeber not to raise you voice to others. I so look forward to attending your graduation.
