A History

I have been story telling exalted for 5 years now. Most of my stories are long and something happens in the last arc so that the story is left unfinished. This is my last attempt at such a epic story.

Plot Outline

In this version of the story, the Sidereals are playing the strings of fate and using the characters and the npc's in some sick and twisted way. Memnon, A Endings Sidereal has had a vision of a Dark Sun. This Anti-Sun destroyed the lands and all of creation. Being tortured by this recuring vision, he goes mad and becomes obsessed with its meaning. Ultimately he comes to a conclusion, create a greater controllable evil to fight this evil.

So he sets out, driven by his madness to create an artifact that will let him control completely 3rd circle demons no matter what by binding them into an artifact. He uses the Solars to do this deed for him. Setting up certain members of the Solar Deliberative and blackmailing others for the knowledge that he does not have. Ultimately he is successful and had the object created.

A manse was built to amplify the power of the artifact. On a night when the Unconquered Sun was eclipsed by Luna, the process for summoning was started. Nine Solars agreed to summon a set of the nine greatest Yozi's. There was just one problem. A great King of the Solars caught on to Memnons scheme and sent a team of lunar and solar exalted to the Temple to put a stop to this madness.

That team however was to late. The process had started. What happened in the confusion was that the spells were interrupted, Demons let loose their own magics, counter magic spells and Martial Arts use were in full swing. At the climax of these events, the book sucked in the nine exalted, Memnon escaped along with his followers. And the Yozi's roamed creation for a time.

The great King Anorak, Shield of the Glorious Sun, used his mighty artifact spear, Destiny, to cleave the book into nine parts. He had them taken to secret manses around creation. Left in dark places and no mention to be recorded in any archieve of the matter. Then he asked a circle of Solars to do a deed for him that he had no right to ask, to sleep a dreamless sleep and to awaken when the books were moved from their secret hiding places.

Sleeping Chambers were brought from Rathas for the circle. The Shield of the Glorious Sun, summoned a second circle demon to watch over the sleeping chambers and to awaken them when the time came, his name is Aeon. He watches over them as they sleep in the manse.

Time Passes . . .

The Second Age is upon them as they are brought out of slumber. Aeon tells them that they have been awaked as his orders deemed. And he disappears. They slowly walk up the stairs, depleted of essence, they view a great war going on. A city has been built around the temple. Horrible sights they see. They witness the great fall of Thorns. And now they must make sense of this strange world they have awakened to.

Session Details

I will try to keep a accurate session record of how things procede. Since this story is still unfolding, I will try to post a record of each session and how they develope.
