Session 006
Background: The Solar Deliberative has moved the capital from Lookshy to the newly built city of Itamas. It is a glorious city that was built using all the old methods of building that were preserved by the Sidereal. At this point, it is 3 months since the last session that was played.
In that time, they were part of the capital being moved. They have been given staterooms in the main palace where the government has made its home. Work still goes on in the city, making the markets and other buildings, but for the most part, the defense walls are up, and the main government buildings are built.
Players are having their dreams of the past. Nothing to much happens while they move from Nexus to this new capital. What they do is nothing more than to train.
Opening: They current day is Realm Year 789 on the 16 of Descending Water. Both players are having a dream of the past. Each is dreaming the dream that is already detailed in other document. When they awaken it is noon, however, their room is bathed in the light of their respected element (sunshine/moonlight) and their they see their counter part basked in that element light as they should be and not how they are. The image fades. (Meaning: The powers that be are showing them that they fate is not set yet. There is still yet time to change the future)
Scene: They are summoned to the council chambers of the Solar Deliberative once more. They are asked by Zion to accompany him north. His friend Marcus has asked for a gathering of forces to stop the Enemy, Memnon. He has agreed and would like them to accompany him on the trip by weeks end (789DW21). They are going to set out of Itamas.
Later in the day, they are asked by Adakon to meet him for dinner, that there were things to be discussed about the future events and their role in them. He tells them that if they pursue the course of events that they are. They might make the present a happier place, but they will damn the future when the Red Star, the First Primordial comes back. It is their choice which they do.
That night, Tifa visits Gutts. She tells him that the future isn’t set. Change one event and a new future will occur. But she warns him, that such meddling can have unwanted consequences.
The rest of the week is uneventful. They set out for the North. The Army arrives in Siyan in one month (789AE24). They stay their and replenish their supplies before heading back out, they stay about two weeks there (788RE08). Before the Legion leaves, Zion asks the group to go and be and advanced group. They will follow slower behind. The group comes across an old town that is on fire. There isn’t a body around and no signs of them even being buried. They start to see this many times as they travel further into the north.
They go into the realm of the Black Chase (789RE20). It is a shadow land and there is a lot of funky shit going on in the Shadow Land. Zion asks the pc to join him in a private meeting. There they talk about the emergence of the Dark Riders to the north. They are heading south at fast rate. Then they say that there are rumblings to the West. A great gathering of evil. They will assume that it is the Enemy. He wants them to investigate this gathering. Avoid capture at all costs.
The PC’s get captured by a host of demons. They will hold them until Memnon shows up. They talk about the coming war and then tell them to go. He shows them where they will be and when the event must happen. They must make sure the two hosts meet. The future must be decided and be balanced. (789DE01)
