Session 001
The group is summoned to Nexus by a council member. Most have never been on the floating ship and will be awed at the sheer magesty of such a thing. They will be welcomed by their host, Ularia. She is a air elemantal God Blooded. They will be watched by Rendat and Adakon from the shadows. Ularia is somewhat magestic and her movements flow like fine blades of grass on the wind. Her voice sounds harmoized. She is somewhat detached by the events that she knows is coming. She informs them of a great enemy that is rising in power. Gathering pieces of an ancient artifact of power. They are to go to the south and recover this artifact and bring it back to the council. She tells them that they are to go see a man named howard in lookshy. Howard will be able to tell them more for Howard has arranged most of this deal with the council. They are given a scroll that will tell howard who they are, it also carrys the seal of the council.
The journey from Nexus to Lookshy is a cautious one. There should be an encounter with some bandits but nothing more. Most things that would try to attack them, decide not to cause of the lunars. So, it will take them about a month to get to lookshy. Howard can be found at the edge of the back of town. He has a large shop and seems to be working on something rather technological and BIG. But what it is no one can tell for he will quickly make everyone leaves that enters the building. He quickly tells them that the people they need to talk to are in the deep south. Past all known civilization. They are the lunars of the desert. The freemen. They have possesed a portion of this book for the longest time. But now that someone is trying to reclaim that ancient evil. They are willing to give it to people that are willing to protect it and stand against this evil. He hands them a map with the route that they are to travel. It will take them to a city in the desert called Adabas.
There one of the lunars will meet them and take them to their tribe so that they can travel to get the book.
After they leave for this city, they are travel for about two weeks. They are nearing the border of the Solar Dilberative when they come across the town of Freeport. When the enter there for the night, everyone seems to be really tight up. It seems that a bandit horde will be coming soon to collect the yearly tribute. That they have tried to send word to the solars but they assume that either the solars do not care OR that the messangers have not been able to get there.
So, they are asked to defend the town
