Session 009

Background Nine months have passed since the last session. They are all being summoned for a meeting with the Council. They will be sent to investigate the stolen Warstrider in Lookshy. After some investigation, they will find that it was some members of the All Seeing Eye. This prompts the Deliberative into action. But Zion has other plans.

Setting The Capital City of Itamos

SessionThe players have been summoned to the central city of the Solar kingdom, for reasons unbeknownst to them. They are told of a accidental break in Lookshy. Very delicate equipment was stolen. They want them to go to Lookshy and find out what is going on and that they can use whatever force and resources they deem necessary.

They are given the air ship, Narcatlos, to travel in.

The trip takes about 10 hours to get to Lookshy. They are greeted by Belondil when they arrive at Lookshy. They go over what was stolen. The big thing is that THE prototype Warstider was stolen from its hanger. That hanger was under lock, key, and magic. Who ever stole it, knew what they were doing big time. Howard suspects some kind of exalted was at work. Belondil suspects that it was a Mr. Caleraen that might have pulled the job. He is after all the biggest crime lord in the city of Lookshy.

Talking with him will gather this information:

• A few months ago, some people came to me looking to hire some thugs for a job. I told them I wasn’t into that, I am after all, a legitamit businessman. However, if pressured for information, he suggest that they go see Mistress Harlock over in Nexus. She might know something that can help them.
  

• Asking Mistriss Harlock, there will be a fight and a chase as she tries to escape them. Hey will run into all sorts of issues when trying to capture her.
  

• Asking around, a local gang was hired and paid pretty well to loot in the rich part of town, while some of them got away pretty good, especially after the town guards were brought back into the commercial district.
  

• They stayed at the Balliwick. Looking around, they find excess tobacco [the weed is grown on the Isle and is imported by Up in Smoke only by request]
  

• A local dock worker says that a couple people were on the docks that night and there was a suspicious boat that had been in dock for about a month, then that day seemed to be in a hurry to leave. Its origins were the capital city.
  

After careful investigation, it can be assumed that the dragon blooded were the ones that stole it.

Reporting back to Belondil, he seems to be sweating a bit more than usual. Howard is all to unpleasant right now. Howard is upset cause not only did they steal a working model, but they also grabbed some of the blue prints. He declares this to be a most bad day for them.

As they arrive back in Itamas, they report back their findings. They find this to be a most unacceptable position that the Realm has put them in. The characters must go to the Realm and plead their case to the Empress herself. Zion pulls the group into his personal chambers. He explains to them that he was once slave lover to the Empress. He hopes that maybe she might still hold a place in her heart for him. They must make contact with someone in the Dynasty, someone with enough influence that they might be able to gain an audience with her.

Using contacts and such. They arrange transport on a commercial ship to the Isle. The ship was suppose to go to the Imperial Capital but gets rerouted to a smaller town about 200 miles down the coast due to weather.
