Intro [Outline]
The group has been summoned by only one of the elders. They are given the mission of going out and finding a certain object. A piece of a book. It is unknown for what purpose the enemy has for it. But for now, they are to start he search for it. And they are to go about it unnoticed.
They are told to go find a man, Howard, that he might have information. For Howard has many adventuring contacts. Howard is located in Lookshy. At Lookshy, Howard will be able to tell them that they need to head to the firey sands of the south. There they look for the lunar tribe of the Fadkin. They were the last holders of this rare and evil artifact. It will take them about 6 months to get where they need to go and about the same to get back.
On the way back, they come face to face with a black rider. It should be a pitched battle. But ultimately he is called away from the battle by an unknown force. He will be cocky and powerful .. to the highest extreme. Other encounters can ensue but for the most part, that is the most action they will see that will be an equal to them. When they return to nexus with the book. There will be onimus people there. It seems that this book draws evil to it like nothing else.
The book is then given to the Council Elder Rendat. The players know that his is not exactly the best person on the council and their is their fair share of rumors. But he is council and he must be doing what is the best for the realm. As they bask in the knowledge that ehy have done something great, the book is then stollen by powers unknown. And then they are summoned to the Council Chambers of the Deliberative. At which point they will then be given a new task. Seek and Destroy. They are then sent out by Zion himself to find the enemy and retrieve this artifact of great evil.
This is the point when they are told to find the Ranger Marcus to learn what they can of the Enemy so that they can track him down and destroy them. They are to return with this book. They are told that he along with his band of warriors is to the north .. almost inot the tundra. They will send word so that everyone will be up to speed.
Along the road, many things can happen. They will pass through several farming communities as well as a few small towns that can and just might be terrorized. But all in all, it will take them 8 months to get where they are going to.
In the end, they will track a black rider for a while and then they will meet at the redevue that marcus tells them too to witness the epic battle. They will arrive too late to be there. There will be some kinda delay. In the end, only a few people will be left after the battle at which point, the book is still sitting in the middle, completely unskethed. They can take the book back. At which point, they are herald as heroes by the council. Zion personally says to them that he can see great things for them if they complete all tasks in such grandure as this.
