Sapphire Song
A small background of what kind of life your character lived before exaltation.
The daughter of a dragonblooded couple who worked in the great metropolis of Chiaroscuro. She was student at one of its great universities, studying the what occult arts were taught to mortals. She was something of an Occult prodigy, though to the distress of her tutors, she was instead forever distracted by her 'adventures' out into the desert. Generally merely day dreaming about them, but occasionally actually running away on them.
At least and idea of how they exalted.
While on one of her extra-curricular jaunts into the desert, exploring a complex that had been decomissioned some 50 years earlier ... with good reason. She had found her way, through luck and perseverence to the control room of the complex. It was as she finally managed to reactivate it that she Exalted. Just in time to save her life from the guardian devices that had gone rather out of control, nessessitating the closing of the facility.
She escaped just barely, though the amount of essence she had to channel with imperfect control has left her with the twilight symbol burned on her forehead in gold, and an inability to channel essence subtly and was taken away for more training...
Why they were chosen to be 'saved' by their teacher?
Sapphire is a sorcerous prodigy, that much was clear from the brief training she recieved before the urserpation, and it is hoped that in the new age she would continue to grow in power, learning from the knowledge imparted into the fabric of the world if nessesary.
A small discription of the character.
Sapphire is a tall woman with long blue hair down to her waist, often held in an intricate series of golden clasps. She wears simple clothes in while and blue, trimmed with gold, an intricate design combining an eagle (her anima image) and the twilight sign over her heart.
