Red Grin

RedGrin is a ChangingMoon caste Lunar originally hailing from the IceWalkerTribes of the North. His exaltation happened upon him during his trial of adulthood. He was beset upon by a northern sabre toothed feline, who hunted him for days on end. Red Grin however had plans, and eventually lured the beast in to a trap before setting himself upon it and killing it with a hand carved spear. Somewhere during the beasts death throes, Red Grin virtually became the beast he had killed, tearing at its flesh before it's heart had stopped beating. As he was drinking the blood from its still warm heart, the change came over him, and a warmth flowed through his body. He had been Chosen.

The next year saw Red Grin taken in by the Silver Pact, and his old life was gone. He walked away from his old name and his people, and spent the time scrabbling to survive the harsh induction thrust upon him. But survive he did, until eventually he had his tatooes set, his caste determined, and was left in charge of his own fate.

Red Grin left the territory of the Pact behind, and began wandering the Northlands, not yet looking for territory of his own. The tribes and villages of the North that had once been his home, and familiar to him felt wrong. They felt like they were no longer his. Instead, he found himself intrigued by the cities of the North. Strong as a whole, yet made up of people not worthy of respect, it was a dichotomy that confused him. So once more, he left behind that which he was familiar with, only this time he was choosing his own direction. And so, he chose to head south, to SapphireCrown, the "largest known city in the (his) world". He would understand these people...
