Version I

Hooked Daiklaives</b>

Requires: Strength 1, Dexterity 3, Martial Arts 3; Commitment: 4 each

These weapons are always found in pairs. When both blades are wileded together, the characer can take two hand-to-hand actions every turn without penalty. These swords also eliminate any penalties for using a weapon in the offhand. All other abilities as per Castebook: Night.

i'd give'em a defense value of +4 or +5. weapong get a lower defense value unless they are explicitly weapons made for defense, as these are -Domon

I agree: defense reduction is an exception rather than a rule. In addition, the stats in CB:N are exactly the same as a normal Daiklave, except with a higher Defense rating. I think it follows then that the hooked daiklaves should have the same Speed and Accuracy as a normal Power Combat daiklave. Also, I don't think there's a reason for the Strength requirement to change from 2 to 1 (unless that was a typo). I guess I'll write an alternate version.
