Little so far is known of Brattica and his purpose. According to the servitor of the Dandilion Theater, an eastern bird-spirit court, Brattica is indeed a god. But so far none know just what he is a god of. Encounters with this being are thankfully rare in this age, however in the recent years there have been a rush of reports of a great beast on the battlefield. According to the many tales, Brattica has been around since the beginning of Creation and that he has come into conflict with many of the more famous individuals, most 'recently' General Nefvarin. In known history now, only two have been able to defeat Brattica in single combat, Nefvarin, and an anathema known as Eo Faucon. Others he has come into conflict with either have not spoken of the encounters, or simply have not survived.

Since the end of the contagion Brattica as a known god has disappeared, only resurfacing to come into conflict, most often with more heroic individuals than with the average. Brattica is known to have a particular fascination with the Dragonblooded, a fascination that none know the true reason for, a reason that brings him into conflict with as many of the Terrestrial Exalted as he can manage. Most such encounters come after massive slaughters, the reasons for this are unknown.
