Lying in the darkness, not daring to move a muscle in case the statues are wakened into violence once again, you close your eyes and try to meditate. You feel yourself surrounded by a warm glow that comforts but threatens to burn if not treated accordingly. A large figure stands before you, the Unconquered Sun, looking down upon your broken body.
"Yari, my priest, my Chosen. I have Exalted you above all others to carry my word into Creation. I have answered your prayers and permitted you access to the tomb of Pleasant Clouds, once my Chosen whom I turned my back on in disgust and shame. You have been bested by the guardians placed here by the treacherous servants of the Maidens, but this is not the day for you to falter. There are further obstacles to overcome, and you will carry my word back to the people who have been deceived by the teachers of the Immaculate Dragons. Within the next chamber is an artifact of immense power that has been lost to the world for a thousand years. I give this to you to aid you in your quest."
The glow fades and you feel the warmth continuing throughout your body. You find your wounds healing at an immensely fast rate. Within half a day you feel as if you could move again with only a little stiffness. You wonder vaguely what your companions are doing and what is occurring in the city.
You are still aware of the guardians standing in the tomb, and wonder what your next move should be.
