I regret this missive is as hurried as it is. Margard Saiki has appeared with news of a merfolk tribe about 2 days west of Cherak, on a volcanic island. It’s outside Cheraki waters but too far out from the Blessed Isle for the Realm to care. Excitement amongst my classmates is high, so I’m going along to be the voice of reason. Most of them seem to listen to me.

Saiki has arranged transport but wouldn’t share the vessel’s name. If it becomes important, harbor records should easily ID it. I’m expecting a 5-6 day round trip and have prepared my classmates accordingly.
