Miedvied/SiderealGunFu

Okay, so, besides coming up with lots and lots of modern Firearms charms... I notice we have Righteous Devil Style, which is just ... well, gun-fu.

However, Sidereals are bound to improve upon any Fu they come across, and they'd have to be pretty ballsy fellas to ignore the advent of guns. Regardless, this isn’t Sidereal-level Gun-Fu; this is still Celestial level, but it’s higher in the essence ranges than Righteous Devil Style.

Shattered Heavens Rain Style Level: Celestial Acceptable Weapons: Guns of any sort. Armor is not allowed.

The Sidereal and his weapons have become a singular fused entity, for so tightly intertwined are their Essences. Once this charm is purchased, any weapon to which the Exalt is attuned (or, if a non-artifact weapon, to which he commits 1 mote of essence) is always comfortably tucked away in whatever place he chooses to hide it. The weapon is gauranteed to never snag when being drawn (as frequently happens to morons that keep pistols in their pants pockets), misfire in the holster, or fall out if the Sidereal does not wish it to.

Moreover, any attempts to spot the Sidereal as carrying a concealed weapon have their difficulty increased by the Sidereal's permanent Essence, including metal detectors and men giving pat-downs.

Due to the comfortable and at -hand nature in which the Martial Artist stows his weapon, he may reflexively spend 2 motes of essence to increase his initiative by his Martial Arts rating.

The Martial Artist launches a barrage of gunfire that shatters through walls, tearing apart plaster and wooden frames as easily as it does steel doors and automobiles. For the affected action, the martial artist’s weapon multiplies its base damage by perm ess. against inanimate objects. Further, any characters hiding behind doors or cars or any such object for cover (including shields) receive no cover bonus, and the covering item takes damage (multiplied as above); a single blast can easily tear apart a Ford Navigator and the target hiding behind it.

The Martial Artist meditates for the briefest of non-moments; Essence criss-crosses his field of vision forming a box-pattern across the world. Painted red and yellow and green, he immediately sees the appropriate points of vulnerability to fire upon to bring a fleeing target to a halt. The Martial Artist’s attack – be it against a fleeing man, or a car – ignores the target’s soak. Health levels of damage are not dealt to the target, but instead, for every health level of damage the target’s speed is reduced by one yard (usually dex+12). If the target’s speed is reduced to 0, it is brought to an immediate and crashing halt. This charm usually manifests as a remarkably accurate shot at a target’s kneecaps or tires.

The Martial Artist’s bullets’ essence expands outside of their physical shells; as they rip down the barrel of his gun, they begin to spark and flame. Growing increasingly hot, by the time they leave the barrel they are speeding packages of fire and shrapnel.

When attacking using this charm, the attacker’s accuracy and damage ratings are both increased by his Martial Arts rating.

In hindsight, I don't so much like the above tree. I'm abandoning it. I'm going to work on a different variant, but I figured I'd leave what's up there ... well, 'cause I don't like just erasing stuff I've done.
