This is a Celestial Martial Arts Style updated for the MartialArtsKatas system.

Striking Cobra Technique</b>

 Type: Supplemental (Combo-Ok)
 Minimum Abilities: Awareness 2
 Minimum Essence: 1
 Prerequisite: None

This Kata supplements a Join Battle action, addnig a number of automatic successes equal to the character's Essence.

Serpentine Evasion</b>

 <b>Cost: 3 Motes
 Duration: Instant
 Type: Reflexive (Combo-Ok)
 Minimum Abilities: Dodge 3
 Minimum Essence: 1
 Prerequisite: Striking Cobra Technique

This Kata increases the static value that determines the Martial Artist's Dodge or Parry DV by his Essence against a single attack.

Snake Form</b>

 <b>Cost: 5 Motes
 Duration: Instant
 Type: Reflexive (Combo-Ok)
 Minimum Abilities: Athletics 3
 Minimum Essence: 2
 Prerequisite: Serpentine Evasion

While in this Form, the Martial Artist's bashing soak is increased by his Essence, and any attack against the Martial Artist which relies on targeting him visually receives an internal penalty equal to his Essence.

Essence Fangs and Scales Technique</b>

 Duration: One Scene
 Type: Simple (Speed 5)
 Minimum Abilities: Brawl 4
 Minimum Essence: 2
 Prerequisite: Snake Form

For the remainder of the scene, the Martial Artist may soak lethal damage with his Bashing soak, and all his bare-handed attacks or attacks with seven-section staves or whips become Piercing.

Armor-Penetrating Fang Strike</b>

 <b>Cost: 4 Motes, 1 Willpower
 Duration: Instant
 Type: Supplemental
 Minimum Abilities: Brawl 5
 Minimum Essence: 2
 Prerequisite: Essence Fangs and Scales Technique

This Kata supplements a single attack, causing that attack to completely ignore the target's armor when determining soak.

Snake Strikes the Heel</b>

 <b>Cost: 4 Motes, 1 Willpower
 Duration: Instant (Counterattack)
 Type: Reflexive (Combo-Ok)
 Minimum Abilities: Brawl 5
 Minimum Essence: 2
 Prerequisite: Snake Form

This Kata allows the Martial Artist to reflexively counter-attack a single melee attack with his bare hands. The dice pool for this attack is equal to the number of successes the opponent rolled on the initial attack, plus the Martial Artist's Essence.

Uncoiling Serpent Prana</b>

 Minimum Abilities: Thrown 3
 Minimum Essence: 3
 Prerequisite: Snake Strikes the Heel

This Kata allows the Martial Artist to perform an unarmed Brawl attack up to his (Essence x 2) yards away, using his Dexterity + Thrown. Charms and Katas which enhance Brawl or Thrown attacks may be used with this Kata.

Striking Serpent Speed</b>

 Minimum Essence: 3
 Prerequisite: Uncoiling Serpent Prana

The character may perform a magical flurry of up to (Essence + 1) actions. These actions do not need to be attacks, but no action may have a Sped higher than 7.

Essence Venom Strike</b>

 Duration: Instant 
 Type: Supplemental (Combo-Ok)
 Minimum Abilities: Brawl 5
 Minimum Essence: 3
 Prerequisite: Striking Serpent Speed, Armor-Penetrating Fang Strike

This Kata supplements an unarmed attack or an attack with a whip or seven-section stave, causing it to inflict Aggravated damage, and adding the Martial Artist's Essence to the attack's damage.
