Swinging Monkey Dodge</b>

When using this charm, the character charges her form with the agility and mobility of a monkey swinging from branch to branch. This charm can only be used with the “full dodge” action and adds the character’s martial arts rating to the dodge pool for every dodge of the full dodge.
Raging Ape Boldness</b>

With this charm, the player may block an attack that uses melee weapon using his bare hands, by knocking the weapon aside before it strikes; mechanically, the player can safely parry lethal damage blows with his hands until his next turn. If such a parry succeeds with three extra successes, the attacker is disarmed by this parry, his weapon knocked aside. Two handed weapons require five extra successes to disarm thus instead of three. Stunts or other charms are still needed to block missile attacks. This charm is incompatible with weapons.

The character adopts the stance of a belligerent gorilla and the wisdom of the mandrill. While using Mandrill form, she adds her martial arts score to her dodge and her permanent essence to her unarmed damage. This charm is incompatible with armor and weapons. Players cannot use more than one martial arts form at a time, and all charms below Mandrill Form on the tree require Mandrill Form active to use.

The character imbues his arm with great strength for a single punch, adding his permanent essence to the raw damage if the blow hits. This charm is incompatible with weapons.
Alpha Male Strike</b>

The character charges herself with essence and bellows unnaturally loud, then strikes a blow designed to intimidate a foe into submission in a single hit. This punch cannot be blocked, only dodged. The damage is doubled for the purposes of determining knockdown, and when checking for stun use the pre-soak damage instead of the post-soak damage. This charm is incompatible with armor and weapons.
Dive-From-Tree Technique</b>

The character, who must be at least 2 yards above the target to perform this attack (jumping from a tree, for example), leaps down upon the target and strikes a powerful blow. If the attack succeeds, her permanent essence is added to the raw damage, and the target is stunned for 6-their stamina turns, suffering a –2 penalty on all die pools.
Defense of Many Blows</b>

When using this charm, the character chooses a number of attacks. This charm costs 2^N motes to use, where N is the number of attacks. The first N attacks against the character that receive at least one success, even attacks that she is unaware of, are blocked with a dexterity+martial arts roll. These blocks may block lethal damage dealing melee attacks, but not missile or magical attacks. At the end of the turn, if all N blocks have not been used then that many punching or kicking attacks may be used against targets within range.
Graceful Ape Method</b>

For the remainder of the scene the character is surrounded with a shimmering Essence aura, granting them an astounding mobility. All attacks against the character that she is aware of automatically have their difficulty increased by the character’s permanent essence. This supplements dodging, but if the player blocks an attack then the difficulty of the attack is normal. This charm is incompatible with armor and weapons.
