MargardKazuki/SessionFifteen
Mizugami and Elin has crafted letters to send back to the Blessed Isle to explain the group's actions for the assault against the Ragara compound. Despite having killed a half-dozen Dragonblooded, burned down buildings, and created general havoc, 6 days later, there are no legal repercussions against the group.
Virtuous Cloud looked into Ragara Tren, but it appears that he has never existed. Virtuous Cloud announces that she will be departing the campus for a while in order to look into the matter further.
The week before the final Greater Deliberative meeting, Mizugami is subtly promoting Esley. Mahiro has also decided that she will be running for President of the Lower Deliberative. With Mizugami and Kazuki's support from behind the scenes, her experience as Vice President, and her associations with Dragonblooded, she easily wins.
At the Greater Deliberative meeting, Esley, Fallows, Mier, and Judas are running for Vice President. Esley wins the vote. For President, Mizugami and Judas are in the running, and Mizugami wins. Speaker to the Lower Deliberative would be decided upon at the start of the next year.
The week after the election, gifts begin arriving for the PCs. Jahanna is approached by Danic, who offers to accept Jahanna as an ally of House Peleps. With this offer comes the gift of armor that not only protects her, but will also not intefere when she wears it in water. Danic also brings Jahanna a hearthstone from her own manse, one that complements her fire aspect abilities.
Kira gets Jade Armor that is painful for spirits to touch, and a hearthstone that makes her invisible to them. Ranka receives a Daikaive with which to protect herself.
Judas gets a Lookshy Long Coat befitting his rank and position.
Mizugami also receives armor and a hearthstone, brought to him personally by his aunt. As she has just returned from the Isle after being seriously wounded, Mizugami catches her up on all the events that have transpired during her absence.
Kazuki's mother brings him a set of Jade armor that is most obviously battleworn. Out of all the gifts for the class, it is the only set that has a history.
Mother of Ash shows up before Judas to talk. While she is free of the Chantry, she is still somehow fettered to Creation and cannot reincarnate. She is not certain why she remains on the physical world, but she suspects it is because her remains were never properly put to rest. He asks for her aid in his crusade in exchange for his assistance to put her to rest when she is ready to depart.
He also introduces her to Saiki, the Blue Master, Kazuki, and Chisato, who is the rare mortal excited to meet a real ghost. Chisato is excited to be able to see a ghost, but disappointed to realize that Mother of Ash isn't really able to answer many questions about being a ghost. Chisato is, however, able to figure out enough through her questions, to identify how long ago she passed away, and where her village is. Judas figures that by researching tax records in that village, he will be able to find her remains, possibly even her real name, and then put her to rest.
With Mizugami's assistance, Judas discovers that Mother of Ash's real name in life was Morning Frost Willow. Mizugami is also able to find her lineage and find out who her descendants are -- and it turns out that Chisato is one of her great-great-grandchildren.
Mizugami throws a party for the graduating class and for Jahanna's "acceptance" into House Peleps. Kazuki throws a party for Mahiro's election into the Lower Deliberative presidency. Many other parties are thrown that week.
Danic approaches Jahanna one day and strongly suggests that whatever plans the students have for summer vacation be hastened to occur as soon after the school year is over as possible. It is in their best interest to not be in town when the Hunt comes through town. The group decides to leave for White Wall a little earlier than planned, and invite others that would be better off not being in town as well. Jahanna asks Danic the favor of planning to evacuate people should the Hunt go into a populated area.
Cynis Norrin and Tevanad, of all the pairings, comes to Judas for a favor. Norrin has asked Tevanad to get a special crystal that looks like a hearthstone. It is used to keep people who are asleep in slumber. Judas is being entrusted with it to help protect his friends [read: Kazuki] should the need arise.
Saiki ambushes Kazuki one morning and drags him to the library, where she tells him about the dangers on the road to White Wall -- one side is a Shadowland realm, the other a Raksha domain. The Fae Folk he should be especially be wary for since they will try to tempt him off the road. Ghosts from the Shadowland realm, however, have been known to come onto the road sometimes, and he is encouraged to protect the mortals from these ghosts. She also tells him that he should "be careful about going too deep into the Shadowlands or you might have trouble finding the road again," but does not discourage him from entering.
Jahanna also gets a visit from one of the freshmen, Kuk. Kuk also warns Jahanna about the dangers of the road, after learning that Jahanna doesn't really have plans to do anything should one of the others leaves the road. He strongly recommends that Jahanna comes up with plans for what to do when someone inevitably breaks the sanctuary of the road.
Mizugami is the lucky winner of a visit from Haining. Haining offers to summon a demon who would act as a porter for several months. Mizugami declines, and they both wish each other luck... and Haining disappears from the plot.
One week before the end of the school year, Tevanad comes to Kazuki... wanting to talk to Mizugami. He has some Spirit Sensing Draught to sell to the group to help them further on their trip. Mizugami buys 8 vials.
The last bit of advice for the trip comes from Margard Moro to Mizugami. She believes that Mizugami might have the ability to entertain the Fair Folk enough during the trip to keep them from being malicious.
As the school year ends, Elin works on completing her preparations for her own trip to White Wall. Moro and Kasif make their plans to leave shortly after the PCs, to make an overseas trip around to the Haslanti League on their way to Gethamane. Haining will be departing for the Blessed Isle soon, and after finishing his studies with House Mnemon, he is continuing southward to continue his studies. Tevanad doesn't have any real plans. He has a house in Cherak and plans to stay in town to reap the benefits of his "side job."
Daihama and even Okagura finally graduate. Daihama offers his services as a general handyman to the school to help with construction and repair in and around the campus. His proof of worthiness, if asked, is Kazuki's room. Over the last two years, without Kazuki even being aware, he has added high-quality furniture to the decor and replaced some of what was once there with newer, better pieces.
Okagura lazes about Kazuki's dorm rooms, though he does make himself useful by cleaning and maintaining the room while everyone else is busy. He never noticed Daihama's handywork either.
Rokumasu has finished his post-graduate studies and brings a proposal to the school's attention: he wishes to join as a teaching faculty member, and to demonstrate his worth to the College, he will try to successfully impart knowledge to Kazuki.
