Ascendant Air the 22nd, 768

Big Brother hasnt come home from work yet and its almost midnite. Im little bit worried but I know he will be back! Dinner is waiting for him like always.

Chisato and the other guys came over since no one finished any of their presemester assignments. Daihama was disappointed that Big Brother was at work but they stayed to keep me and Chisato company anyways. Big Brother has such nice friends! Im happy to call them my friends to.

That reminds me about the time Okagura told me they made us official members of their club. I was really surprised and happy but Chisato didnt seem to like it. I could tell that she was really happy inside tho.

Ascendant Air the 23rd, 768

Big Brother wasnt home when I woke up. I became really scared cuz it was just like when mommy and daddy disappeared and I started to cry but then some strange lady knocked on the door. She told me that Big Brother was ok and they apologized for keeping him late. Looks like Big Brother helped someone and then her family gave him a new job as a thank you. Thats my Big Brother! She dint give me any more reasons and then left but I felt a lot better anyways.

I spent the hole day making a super special dinner for Big Brother to congradulate him when he finally got home! He was so suprised and happy! It was a really good nite and we just stayed up and talked and laughed like we havent done in a long long time.

I think that was one of the happyest nites of my life.

Ascendant Air the 24th, 768

Big Brother stayed home today. He said he felt bad that he left me all alone last time but I told him I didnt mind it. I dont want Big Brother to feel so bad but hes always like that.

At least all of our friends came over to day to finish the rest of the homework. Big Brother cheated and just copied Rokumasu but it is probably all wrong anyways. We still had a lot of fun. Its sad that school is almost going to start again since we wont be able to play like this again for a long time. We stay at the same dorm so its not like we cant see each other during the year.

Ascendant Air the 25th, 768

That strange lady came over again today looking for Big Brother while we were eating lunch. Big Brother seemed really nervous while she was here but she didnt say anything the whole time and just waited for Big Brother to finish and get ready.

He told me that he will probably not come home again today and he looked really sad about that. But since I knew that Big Brother would be working I didnt feel nervous or anything so I sent him off with a big smile. It was kind of lonely after he left tho. But then someone came by with a box. He said that Big Brother sent it as a gift. Inside was a really pretty dress and it looked really expensive. The note said that it was something to help me fit in better at the school on the first day. Big Brother told me his new job gave him good pay but I didnt know it was that good! I think I love Big Brother more than ever now!

Ascendant Air the 26th, 768

Big Brother came back today and he looked really tired. I asked him about the new job and he told me that he was working as a servant at some nobles house. No wonder he was able to buy me that dress! But Big Brother is still wearing his old clothes. It looks like hes only buying stuff for me again. But it is a really big place and he has to do a lot of running around the whole place so hes just tired from that.

He also brought home some really fancy stuff for me to cook for dinner tonite. I never had this stuff called caviar or prime rib or truffles or shitake mushrooms before. I wasnt sure I can cook it okay. I thought it would go good in a stew so I threw everything into a big pot and I added potatos rice and cabbage to it. It was really tasty but we have so much food left over! Big Brother really liked it to so I was really happy about that.

Ascendant Air the 27th, 768

Big Brother and me started packing stuff up for school. We dont have much stuff but since no one will be home for maybe a few months we have to take everything with us so that it doesnt get stolen. Big Brother said we dont have to carry it all by ourselves again since he is going to get us a wagon to bring everything instead.

Big Brother seems really happy and that makes me happy to. I have a very good feeling about this school year and I think it is going to be really special.

Ascendant Air the 28th, 768

School starts in two days and me and Big Brother were finishing getting stuff packed up to move in to the dorms tonite. He told me that he and his friends were going to play another big prank to welcome the school year. He said something about getting lots of that soft powdery white rock and drawing stuff on the main courtyard. He showed me a drawing of the pictures and it looked like a bunch of circles to me but he says that it is supposed to be a welcome sign or something. They are going to go really late tonite after we move in to the dorm and I go to sleep so I will have to wait to find out what happened.

Big Brother really did get a wagon with a driver and everything to move our stuff. It all fit inside and we were able to go in one trip and we didnt even have to worry about anyone robbing us cuz there was a footman guarding outside. Big Brothers new job must be really nice! I hope that I can see where he works some day. I want to see a real mansion from the inside!

While we were moving Big Brother got a message that Chancellor Crow wanted to talk to him. He asked the driver and footman to help me to finish moving and he would move his stuff later. While he was away they moved his stuff anyway. They provided such good service! I hope that Big Brother pays them enough.

When Big Brother came back he looked a little bit nervous about something. He said he was ok but because of his really bad grades they are moving him back two grades but he is at least still allowed to be in classes with his friends. He can be in my classes to!

I wuz really angry tho. Okagura is stupider than that and he did not get kicked back. I wanted to go talk to the Chancellor but Big Brother said everything was ok and he already made good deals with her. I am still upset but since Big Brother was ok with it I guess I am okay with it to.

Resplendent Air the 1st, 768

The cafeteria is already open but Big Brother did not come to breakfast or lunch with us today. Okagura said that the Chancellor had to talk to Big Brother early this morning and he was not in class since then. I wonder what kind of deal they made. I hope that the Chancellor is not to mean to Big Brother.

Big Brother did come back to the dorms after dinner. He is roommates with Okagura this year and they always make a lot of noise. I hope they do not annoy their neighbors this year.

Resplendent Air the 2nd, 768

This morning when I got up I was really excited to see the prank that Big Brother and his friends did. When I got to the school people were looking at it with funny faces and when I saw it I knew exactly why. It looked like they put the picture on upsidedown! Those sillies keep failing.

My classes look like they will be really easy this year. I am going to keep on the civics track for now but I wanted to do some stuff in art to so I have a couple of painting classes. Big Brothers class schedule are very weird. Rokumasu says Big Brother is going to a bunch of different classes for stuff he never studied before. He even came and sat in on one of my bureaucracy classes! I guess he really did get kicked back to being a freshman again.

Okagura said to me after lunch that they were going to try to fail a year maybe two so that they can all be in the same classes again. Maybe I should do that to! Then we can all be in the same year together! I told that to Chisato to but she thought I was being an idiot. I guess she did not want to fail a year with us. Big Brother comes to lunch and dinner with us but he is always looking around like he is trying to hide from some people. His new classmates better not be making fun of him for failing two years!

Resplendent Air the 3rd, 768

Big Brother told me this morning that he was going to be away during lunch and dinner today and to not wait for him. I am a little bit sad but I have seen how busy Big Brother has been lately. He looks really tired all the time and Daihama says that he sleeps in class a lot. The teachers dont do anything to wake him up tho. Thats different from what I remember.

I heard some people talking about that the new Dragonblood class was having tests today but its all the way on the other side of the campus and we probably wont be allowed to go see anyway. The stuff I heard makes them sound really cool tho. There is at least one really good looking and one scary looking guy there. There are also two girls in the class and one of them was really cool and the other really looked like that sports star that everbody was talking about last year. It even sounded like one of the guys was even doing stuff that I think Big Brother would do. I wonder if Big Brother heard about him to?

Big Brother came back later that nite and he looked even tireder than usual. He waved to us before going to his room to sleep right away. How can it be that I still see him a lot but I miss him so much?

Resplendent Air the 5th, 768

The homeroom teacher said today that there was going to be elections for the Lower Student Deliberative and that anyone was allowed to run to be part of the student council. Theyre not as cool as the High Deliberative but I thought that if I ran I could have a chance to see some of those Dragonblooded that people keep talking about.

Big Brother couldnt stay for dinner tonite. He said he had to go back to work at the mansion and he will be busy most of the day tomorrow and the day after to. I was disappointed since it is the first day off since school started but I know he is busy so that he can take care of me. I cant be selfish and complain about something like that and besides Big Brother seems to be happy working there.

Resplendent Air the 6th, 768

I decided to run and guess what? I won a seat! Im only a homeroom class rep but it still feels good. Theres a lot of students here but I am able to speak on behalf of my fellow classmates and I feel really proud about that. I didnt tell Big Brother yet cuz I want to suprise him after we help organize our first big event the school festival and he was out all day anyway. I was a little bit nervous when they talked about the stuff on the courtyard on the first day of school but it was cleaned up really easy and people didnt feel like punishing anyone for that. Im relieved.

I heard that the High Student Deliberative was supposed to choose a Speaker that would be speaking with us so maybe I will have a chance to meet one after all! Im very excited since it will be the first time I get to meet one of the Princes of Earth!

I actually got back to the dorms at around the same time as Big Brother did tonite and we were able to have dinner together with our friends at least.

Resplendent Air the 9th, 768

The High Deliberative called for a meeting tonite to have the Low Deliberative vote on something. The Speaker is really cute hes a good talker and hes just a freshman to! He must be the good looking one that everyone is talking about! But I bet hes not as cool as Big Brother is.

He looks really familiar for some reason tho.

Anyways the Speaker said that the High Deliberative decided to do something about Dunleavy Hall which is full of ghosts and spirits and stuff after some demon summoning went really wrong four years ago or something like that. It sounds really scary in any case and they said that there is a committee that is already set up to go in there to look at whats going on and maybe do something about it. I bet Big Brother would go in there without hesitation. Hes always been like that and hes not afraid of ghosts like I am.

Resplendent Air the 13th, 768

When Big Brother came by for breakfast today he looked really beat. I mean he was black and blue and bruised all over and his hair was a mess. He joked and said that he fell out of bed last nite but it looks more like he fell out the window! I am so worried about him but he seems to be okay. Okagura doesnt know what happened. He didnt hear anything at all last nite and Big Brother was in bed when he woke up.

Big Brother has been hiding something lately and everyone is starting to be a little bit curious about what he might be doing. I think hes doing more than hes telling us while he is working for that noble. He has not even told me what family he is working for! I will try asking Big Brother later but I have the feeling he wont tell me.

Resplendent Air the 15th, 768

Big Brother slept in this morning. Okagura said he wouldnt wake up no matter what so we went to have breakfast without him. We had lunch without him to. At least we know he is not sneaking out this time but its really weird that hes so tired. Hes usually up right away in the mornings since he doesnt like to skip breakfast.

Okagura did say something that bothered me. Big Brother didnt come home until really late last nite and he was really stinky to. He was so tired he almost went to sleep just like that but Okagura and Daihama carried him to the bath and dropped him in with his clothes on. He woke up for a little while but fell asleep while he was soaking. The guys had to carry him back up and dump him on the floor so that he didnt have to go to bed in wet clothes.
