Ascendant Water the 22nd, 768

Everyone was really quiet and things were really awkward all day today. I think that the fact Big Brother is actually one of the Princes of the Earth is finally sinking into everyones minds and no one is really sure what to think about it. Even at lunch today nobody really said anything and even after what Mizugami told everyone during the ceremony it still is kind of hard to keep going as if everything is perfectly normal. Big Brother tried joking with Okagura and Daihama but their laugh was a polite laugh instead of a gut busting laugh they usually have when they fool around.

Our table is much more crowded than usual to. Most of the time the other students mostly leave us a lone and sit far away but now there are other people whoa re like students but not quite students sitting nearby to eating quietly but keeping an eye on all of us. It feels kind of weird having a bodyguard and Im not really sure why we have to have one but I guess it kind of makes me feel special at the same time to. Some of them moved into rooms nearby us last nite and they even had to move some of the other students so that they could be neighbors and its just so weird.

We dont always have the same ones watching us, though when I am in class by myself, Sagara Sousuke is usually the one who accompanies me. When were together, there is usually just one who is there, and they always change depending on what time it is. I guess they need to sleep to.

I did notice that Big Brother was wearing the gift that we all got for him though he had it tied on a string and has it hanging around his neck underneath his jacket. I was really happy to see that he was wearing it but things were still to awkward for me to mention it but I am sure that everyone else noticed it to.

I hope that things dont stay like this for to long. It makes me feel so lonely even though everyone is right there with me. Chisato and me didnt even talk much before she went to sleep. And I have all this stuff to worry about for the festival to!

Ascendant Water the 25th, 768

Everyone was really quiet again at breakfast this morning and after so many daysI decided that enough was enough so I did something about it or at least tried to. When we were all together for lunch I made sure I had an extra large helping of bread pudding and when I noticed that everyone was all quiet and tense again I picked up a large glop of pudding and flung it at Big Brother. Or at least I tried to cause I really suck and I ended up hitting Sousuke with it instead and there wasthis gloopy string of pundding dripping from his hair and wow things got really awkward there for a moment.

But then all of a sudden Big Brother started to laugh out loud. I mean like a real laugh the kind that he used to always have before this whole Dragonblooded business. And then the others started laughing to even Sousuke and thenSousuke flicked a bit of the pudding back at me but it also hit Okagura and then everything broke out into a full blown foodfight even with the bodyguards.

At dinner everyone was talking pretty much like normal again and they they even dragged the bodyguards into the conversations and everyone was having a good time. I was really glad to see everyone laughing again. Victory me!

Ascendant Water the 26th, 768

Tonite while we were all hanging out in Big Brothers room Big Brother started telling us the stories of everything thats been happening with him ever since he Exalted. All of his stories sounded so cool and exciting! While he was telling his story he hung some wind chimes outside the window and kept talking for a while and just as he started to say that nowadays he also goes out to do monster hunting during some nites there was a knock on the window and there was a girl standing outside!

Big Brother let the girl in and introduced her to us as Saiki Margard. I guess since Big Brother is part of the Margard family that she is Big Brothers sister or cousin or something like that. For a moment things got kind of really awkward again since all of a sudden there were two Dragonblooded in the room but then Okagura started trying to flirt with her and when she glared at him he got really scared and hid in the corner which we all thought was really funny. Big Sister Saiki didnt really say much that nite but things didnt seem to uncomfortable with her there.

One thing that did bother me was that the room was starting to get really crowded. It was already kind of small to begin with and it was stuffy with just the six of us hanging out all the time but now there were tweleve people in the room and there was almost no space to move. Just as I was thinking that Big Brother suddenly said that he was planning on moving back to the Palace. My heart skipped a beat when he said that and I was just starting to get really sad when he added that he was going to try to get the rest of us to be able to stay in the Palace of Len Occam to.

That was like so WOW I didnt know what to think right then. Big Sister Saiki kind of half joking if she was included to and Big Brother asked if she wanted to and she thought about it for about 2 seconds before shaking her head no. Big Brother said she was always invited especially since he still wanted to do all the monster hunting stuff and she said that she would think about it but she didnt want to be in the same building as this Chead person where things could get really nasty. I was only kind of half listening cause I was still really excited about the idea about living out of the Palace of Len Occam!

Ascendant Water the 28th, 768

I noticed for the first time today a bunch of girls in class wearing very dark makeup on their cheeks and on their nose! I tried not to giggle when I noticed but I pointed it out to the others.What a strange looking fashion! Okagura couldnt help but to stare but Chisato and Rokumasu looked at me funny.

Resplendent Water the 4th, 768

Big Brother came back with some great news today! He said he talked to the people at the Palace and they said it would be okay for us to move in with him! I was so happy!

We could start moving in this weekend but Big Brother took us all by before dinner for a quick tour of the building. He showed us his room first and it was so huge! I thought he only had one room like at the dorms but he actually had three whole rooms that were all his! He said that he would let all the guys sleep in the big bedroom that he was in and he would set up the second room for the girls and then he showed the third room that was going to be our gathering space and it had this crazy collection of weapons and jackets and stuff.

Then he showed us to where we could go eat and wihle it wasnt the place where all the Dragonblooded eat since we werent actually allowed there it was a place where all the servants and staff got to eat and Big Brother would be joining us here for meals and he says that the food here was a gazillion times better than the food at the dorms! Then he gave us the next big suprise and said that since it was close to dinner already we should all eat there to see what it was really like and he was right! It was sooooooo delicious. I think everybody had seconds and thirds even Chisato.

Ohh I cant wait to move in!

Resplendent Water the 7th, 768

Everyone moved into Big Brothers room today. There was like this small crowd that was watching us the whole time and I felt kind of nervous but Okagura was really hamming it up and waving at everyone as we went. No one else had a lot of stuff except us but Big Brother had gotten a wagon to carry all our stuff so it only took one trip to get everyone there anyway but when we got to the Palace gates this really awesome looking butler came up with a bunch of servants and helped us carry all of our stuff inside. I think the butlers name was something like Auspcious Dusk and he was like the perfect gentleman and everything. It was so cool!

We didnt pass by any of the other Dragonblooded when we went in but then Big Brother said we were going through the servants hallways and he says that most of the time we should be using those as well. He wasnt sure what all the rules were but he thought that would be safest.

We had a little bit of a party in the room that nite after dinner. Big Brother had already gotten beds and extra chairs and pillows and armoires and stuff for everyone in the bedrooms and out in the meeting room everyone has their own little desk but there are so many people in the room it kind of looks like a small classroom. Okagura started playing around with some of the armor that Big Brother had hanging on the wall and then Big Brother asked if he wanted it. There looked like there was enough armor ther e for all of us and he said that we could all have one for ourselves. These dont look as thick and padded as Big Brothers but they all look and feel really nice.

Resplendent Water the 8th, 768

Even though today was our first full day at the Palace, Big Brother couldnt hang out with us since he had his Deliberative meeting. I was a little bit nervous sin ce I was sure they were going to be discussing the proposal that I submitted last month but I guess I had nothing to worry about because when Big Brother came back and started talking about it he had no idea that I was in charge. I can still suprise him! Heehee!

Anyway me and the others just hung out in Big Brothers room and looked at all the stuff that he had. I am not sure what he is doing with womens dresses in his closet but maybe it is better I do not ask.. But except for the stuff that he brought from home and the gifts he got last time at his ceremony he really doesnt have a whole lot of stuff as a Dragonblooded with the exception of his weapons and armor. In fact the boys started playing around with some of the spears just as Big Brother got back. They all got really nervous but Big Brother just looked at them and asked them if they wanted to learn how to use them. They didnt know how to answer but I think they are interested in learning.

Big Brother told us a little bit of what they decided on at the meeting and it sounded like they approved the whole proposal! I was so shocked since I was certain that there were going to eb some things that would not be accepted but everything passed! Even the budgets!

I guess this means that now I have to start putting together all of the subcommittees to start planning and designing all of the events and then finding all of the equipment and prizes and everything. Of course it will be a lot harder to keep things a secret from Big Brother now but I think thats going to be part of the fun!

Resplendent Water the 14th, 768

While we were at breakfast this morning Chef Huey stopped by to ask us about the food and we were able to tell him about our preferences for future meals! We would have never been able to do that at the cafeteria. This place is incredible!

During the afternoon Big Brother introduced us to a few of his classmates and some of the upperclassmen that they usually hang out with. Reflections of Chaos is so cute! Shes so young and small but she is also our upperclassman at the same time! I remember Big Brother talking about her in his stories and shes really tough to! What was most imprpessive to me was meeting the rest of Big Brothers classmates. I got to see Judas and Mizugami and Princess Ranka again. And then there was Kira who looked so cool and Jahanna who Chisato told me later used to be a big sports star.

Then while we were all hanging out in Big Brothers room tonite Mizugami came by and said that he was there to help Big Brother study. It was a promise that he made with Big Brother so that Big Brother could do better in classes and stuff. Rokumasu and Chisato joined them at first and then everyone else did it to.

Resplendent Water the 15th, 768

Kazuki said something about having archery lessons with one of the rectors today so we were on our own tonite for a couple of hours. I got some more work done with the festival committee planning while Chisato helped me with it. The boys were playing around with the spears during the whole time.

When Big Brother came back well I dont think I ever saw Big Brother look that pale before. He looked all nervous and stuff and whatever it was he didnt want to talk about it. He threw his bow in the corner an d disappeared into the room and didnt come out to hang out with us for the rest of the nite. I wonder what happened?

Resplendent Water the 20th, 768

Big Sister Saiki came by todayto tell Big Brother about a new monster threat and they got everyone in Big Brothers class and a few of the upperclassmen together to go take car e of the problem. According to Big Sister Saiki they will be gone for a few days because they have to travel by ocean far away! Im so jealous I wish I could go travel like that to.

But since Big Brother will not be around during this time I thought it would be a perfect time to use the next few days to work on the festival. I got started as soon as they left the Palace and got Chisato and the boys together to work on the planning and paperwork.

I know that each of the events planned by the committee will need a subcommittee to run them all and then there should be a review and acceptance committee for each of the classes and then subcommittees for the planning board and the enforcement arm and then there will need to be schedules so I worked out all of the details and I think I have everything I need to call for volunteers. I was suprised when I saw on the report that Big Brother volunteered to be a part of the Host Club with a few of the other Dragonblooded students. I really think they would be really popular for that! Maybe I should volunteer to!

Descendant Water the 4th, 768

The people studying the casket that Big Brother brought back are done and this was the day they were going to open it. I thought they were going to take care of it at the library but they brought the box and all of the important people to the field outside of the Palace instead and were able to go to the window to watch what was going on. What was shockin is that even ythouhg Chisato didnt know what was going on with all of the studying an d research she was able to see enough to tell the rest of us watching formt he inside what was going on outside.

She said the girl inside of th e box was actually a famous prophetess to the dead named Lucrecia of Pyron and she is like the only mortal who can travel freely between the mortal and spirit realms and she can communicate iwht the dead and everything. Chisato didnt know what Lucrecias reasons for traveling inside of a magic box but she thinks that whatever the reason is something very important is going to happen.
