Hungry For War

Orichalcum Long Powerbow
Acc +4, Dmg +6, Rte 4, Rng 600
Commitment: 10

Crafted in the first age for a member of the Mighty Dawn caste this bow sings with a symphony of destruction. Forged of Orichalcum, Green Jade (pressed into Ironwood for the core) with runes of Starmetal and Blue Jade pressed into the surface. This bow was quenched in the blood of valorus warriors and fearsome beasts to bind their bravery and strength into it.

While attuned: Adds two to the weilder's effective Valor. this applies even to rolls or circumstances where its a hinderance rather than a help

3m) arrows fired from the bow inspire terror or mindless bloodlust in creatures struck (diff 2 Valor(terror) or Temperance(bloodlust) to resist)

varies) Fire 1 arrow and it duplicates itself in a flash of blood/gold essence and strikes a maximum # of times up to the weilder's Valor (the modified score). More than 2 arrows costs 3m per arrow. Only roll once, apply same # of successes to each attack and defend against each individualy if multiple arrows are directed to one target. All selected targets must be within range of the bow. This power cannot be used in combination with any multiattack or extra action charms

3m) All hostile beings within 10yds x the Weilders permenant Essence of an arrow's point of impact take an ammount of bashing damage equal to the lethal damger done to the arrow's target. The Concussion wave is unblockable and undodgeable but may be soaked normally.

3m) Double effective presoak damage when checking for knockback and add unnegated successes to the difficuly of the roll

NOTE: All of the above effects can be stacked, and all targets within the bounds of the area of effect power must be struck by the same impulse if one is chosen. If the dual shot power is included and the area of effects don't overlap different effects could be chosen. If the areas of effect do overlap relevant targets must soak all applicable damage (the effects of the two concussion waves stack)
