Ellyck the Hundred Eyed

Symbolism : The peacock is known as the bird with one hundred eyes. The eye-like patterns in its tail cause it to represent the stars, the universe, the sun, the moon, and the vault of heaven. To Christians this bird's many eyes are symbols of omniscience, the all-seeing God, and the all-seeing Church.Greeks and Romans considered this bird sacred to Hera (a.k.a. Juno) and kept peacocks in her temple. According to their mythologies, Hera created the peacock from the eyes of her one hundred-eyed guard, Argus.

In modern times the peacock's strutting and feather displaying has become a symbol of pride, arrogance, and vanity. During the Baroque period, the peacock often appeared at the Tenth Station of the Cross where Jesus was stripped to expiate our sins of vanity.

I wanted to play with the idea of "many eyes" and vanity to create a Lunar spy. I see him as being very beautiful courtisan who manages to infiltrate any society with his good manners, charms and appearance, often passing for an exotic and rich lord. Once there, he manages to know everything about the intrigues and the romances and the secrets of everyone and then play his game through blackmail, seduction or innocently-revealed confidence. He often play the naive and the weak one, and is also very obvious about not knowing how to fight (going so far as to faint at the sight of blood) but can always count on friends, patrons and lovers of both sexes to defend him. He probably have a very big library of animal forms, using them to spy, travel or fight if no other option is possible. He's somewhat of a parasite of civilised society, enjoying to destroy them from the inside.
