Introduction

Taverly Eagle Sight stared at his temporary companion with barely disguised disgust, Kasims Octopus Battle Form was horrendous, fleshy, relatively boneless, purple and tentacular, the Lunar Full-Moon was a truly hideous sight to behold.

'Not as beautiful, graceful nor blessed as I' mused Taverly, 'whatever plan the Mother had in mind for him....well, perhaps on the seas floor he would be useful.'

Kasims bulbous eyes turned and noted Taverlys gaze, and in his gravelly dockworkers voice asked, "ye gotsa problem, lad?"

"N-no, just admiring the sleek beauty of your warform," the answer was smooth and quick, and inwardly Taverly congratulated himself on his timely response, 'the ugly brute should be flattered enough to be easy to handle.'

Waving a boneless limb in Taverlys direction, Kasim snickered, "listen ta yerself prattle lad, ye sound like on of them Realm folk, all full o yerself and coated in honey." Grabbing the vicious Battle Axe he wielded with gruesome efficiency, Kasim gestured nonchalantly, "me Warform may be no eye pleaser like yer pretty little feathered thing boy, but I can go places ye cain't, and I'll wager a pretty penny, I could trounce yer pretty little hide any day o the week."

Pride and anger swelled up, and Taverly shifted into his majestic warform, allowing Kasim to view the glorious splendor of the Golden Hawks feathers that Luna had blessed him with. "I accept your churlish challenge. Perhaps a beating will remind you that your place is crawling along the seas bottom."

In his 'dignified' anger, Taverly ignored the gleam of anger that lit Kasims eyes, though their third companion, silent till now, did not miss the gleam.

Watching as the other two Lunars bickered about the rules of combat, Jamani knew the fights outcome before it began. Although Taverly was a talented fencer, and a competent warrior, Kasim had lived for combat before he had been blessed by Luna, and his knowldge of close combat fighting was astounding.

The high and mighty Golden Hawk was about to be taught a lesson in humility... Jamani only hoped Kasims temper didn't get the better of him.

Kasim comes across as a typical example of a Full-Moon, combat heavy, with some potent stats. Still it's all in the way you look at it, an Octopus, is not generally an animal you think of when battle comes to mind, despite the fact they are highly intelligent, stronger than you would think, capable of squeezing into the most unlikely of places, and surprisingly swift. And ugly by most peoples opinion. A gruff, deadly and ugly sea dog, with the attitude of a scrapper, the might to back it up, and a crew of (relatively) loyal Pirates who fear and respect him, Kasim is a headache waiting to happen to the Realm.
