Here are some suggested patches for Lunar charms, appearing as they do in the Lunars book. Anything not listed is to be treated as written. Not ALL the Lunar charms are bad. Before leaping upon me with mighty fury these are SUGGESTIONS ONLY. And please pardon my snide comments. Just what I think people. Everyone has an opinion...

Masking the Brilliant Form—as written, except it automatically masks the Tell until peripheral expenditures cause exposure.

Calling Luna’s Favor—prereq now “Finding the Spirit’s Shape” same mote cost (for now), see What To Do With Gifts?
Blossoming Gift of Luna—as written, see What To Do With Gifts?

Towering Beast Form—Permanent Charm. As written

Humble Mouse Shape—Permanent Charm. As written

Shaping the Ideal Form—a silly waste of charm space, but as written.

Prey’s Skin Disguise—This Charm allows the Lunar to obtain enough memories/personality from the human’s heart’s blood to convincingly pass as the person they consumed. Same requisites, mote cost and duration.

Lunar Blood Reshaping—Same requisites, mote cost and duration, however Exalts being changed by this only need to spend a single willpower as well.

Wondrous Lunar Transformation—costs target Exalt the same as a mortal (2 wp). Everything else as written.
Fish Tail Technique—3 motes, One Scene, Reflexive, Charisma 3, Essence 2. A glaring example of the Charm writer’s lack of understanding of Charms.

Crouching Tiger Exercise— Str 2, Should be treated as a Str Die-Adder, instead

Moonsilver Monkey Exercise—Dex 2, Should be treated as a Dex Die-Adder, instead

Breath-Drinking Executioner Attack— Essence 3. as written. A little wonky for Exalted, but it’ll do.

Predator Grace Method—autosux adder, as written. And take out the word “athletics” it’s a Dex charm dammit.

Panther Stride Stance—4 motes, 1 wp. As written

Flying Tiger Techinque—3 m, 1 wp. Essence 2. Forget all that higher math. Treat it as Soaring Raptor Prana from E:tAb.

Cat-Falling Attitude—1 mote, Reflexive. The Lunar lands on his feet and takes no damage from a fall—unless he’s falling on something deadly, like spikes, etc.

Tree Dwelling Jaguar Claws—2 motes, 1wp. Essence 2. As written

Cat-Paw Climbing Style—5 motes, 1 wp. Essence 3. As written

Body Weapon Technique—Reflexive. this is a fairly useless charm for a Lunar to have, but if you desire to keep it; as written.
Sinuous Striking Grace—as written. Striking Mospid Method done away with. SSG is now the only init booster, applicable for any sort of non-MA combat.

Tryant Lizard Strike—Done away with. Use Moonsilver Monkey Exercise as a general dice-adder for Dexterity.
Hydra Head Attack—3 motes per attack, Essence 2. Division?!?! No. Just 3 motes per attack, capped by Essence. Unarmed combat only.

Soporific Venom Attack—5 motes, Essence 3. As written

Snake Head Defense—5 motes, 1 willpower. Scene. Essence 3. As written.

Grasping Pseudopod Method—3 motes, One turn. As written

Tentacle Spear Strike—5 motes, 1 willpower. Essence 2. Makes a number of tentacles = to Essence.

Weapon-Snatching Coils—4 motes, 1 willpower. Makes tentacles like Tentacle Spear, but the rest of the charm’s description about taking the weapon applies.

Bear Embrace Method—Done away with. Use Moonsilver Monkey Exercise as a general Dex die-adder.
Throat-Barring Hold—3 motes per turn. As written.

Hyena Jaw Technique—6 motes, 1 willpower. Until Clinch Ends. As written. May be used in any Beastman form.

Cunning Porcupine Defense—5 motes, 1 willpower. Until Clinch Ends. May be used in any Beastman form.

Ossific Shard Shot-4 motes, the rest as written.

Bull Head Technique- Either add dice up to Manipulation OR make it a Strength charm. Everything else as written.

Subduing the Honored Foe—as written. Stacks with DBT dice bonuses, but bashing only damage applies.

Body Breaking Kata—2 motes, Strength 3. The rest as written.

Foot Confusing Buffet—Buys dice equal to Dexterity. Everything else as written

Hunter’s Eye Techinque—2 motes per soak point negated. Cannot be reduced lower than Lunar’s Perception.

Armor-Rending Claw Fist—confusing. Either as written (armor destroying charm) OR 4 motes, just negates armor soak period. Attack can only be soaked with natural soak.

Dance of the Living Blade—. 3 motes per attack. Dex 3 The lunar may make a number of attacks equal to her Essence or Dexterity. Whichever is lower. NO DIVISION! Armed attacks only.

Lighting Sword Attack—4 motes. As written

Dust Devil Advance—Dex 3, As written

Foe-Driving Attack—Max attacks = to Charisma. The rest as written.
