- Sesus Megumi. An Air Aspect, Crimson Pentacle Blade Stylist, sorceress, fugitive from the Realm.
- Dakari. An Earth Aspect, blinded and exiled in disgrace, who has honed his senses to a supernatural pitch, Incandescent Razor Stylist.
- Kamo Veris. A Wood Aspect, formerly a cavalry commander in the Realm Legions.
- Bard. A young Wood Aspect, the disciple and companion of Kamo Veris.
- Sarum. A Water Aspect, the son of a disgraced Immaculate, Water Dragon Stylist.
- Ragara Turil. An Earth Aspect, a Dynast exiled for stealing money from his House to give to commonners.
- Larzuk. A Fire Aspect, a young hothead with great natural skill in battle.
