- This charm counters a Hopping Defense used by an enemy. The enemy must make a reflexive Dexterity + Athletics roll against a Difficulty equal to the Lunar's Dexterity. Success means that he can move as intended. Failure means he must maintain his position.
Hide Toughening Essence
Cost: 1m/2 soak; Mins: Stamina 3, Essence 2; Type: Simple.

- This charm allows a Lunar to preternaturally toughen his hide, adding 2 soak for every mote spent. The Lunar may not spend more motes in this manner than his Stamina. This charm is compatible with armor.
Armor-Forming Technique

- This charm allows the Lunar to extrude bony plates that make him proof against most attacks. For every mote spent, the Lunar gains 1 lethal soak. He cannot spend more than his Stamina in motes on this charm. For every soak gained, the Lunar's Appearance for the purposes of social combat drops by one. This charm is compatible with armor.
Limb-Shielding Growth
Cost: 3m; Mins: Stamina 4, Essence 2; Type: Simple.

- This charm is akin to Armor-Forming Technique, but instead creates a single, heavy plate of armor on the Lunar's arm that acts as a shield. This provides the standard DV and cover benefit of a shield.

- This charm allows the Lunar to grow a series of armored scales all over his body. This functions as a suit of articulated plate, bestowing 9L/9B soak. This armor has a mobility penalty of -1. This charm is not compatible with armor, but it is compatible with Hide Toughening Essence and Armor-Forming Technique. This armor counts as armor for the purposes of aggravated damage, but as natural soak for the purposes of charms that ignore natural soak.

- The Lunar invokes this charm and rolls Stamina + Resistance against a Difficulty of the opponent's Essence. Success indicates that the attack has been reduced to a single die of damage (NOT the attacker's Essence). Failure still grants the Lunar his Stamina in additional Bashing, Lethal, and Aggravated soak against the attack.
Invulenerable Moonsilver Carapace
Cost: 1m, 1w per action, 3m per attack; Mins: Stamina 5, Essence 4; Type: Reflexive.

Prerequisites: Scales of the Dragon, Luna's Endurance
- This charm allows the Lunar to exude a covering of moonsilver that hardens and absorbs the impact of all attacks directed against it. The Lunar spends a mote of essence and a point of willpower to exude the cover, and 3 motes every time an attack is nullified. This is a perfect soak. The Lunar may allow the carapace to lapse at the beginning of an action, but if he spends a willpower to keep it going, he must maintain it for the rest of the action. Every attack made while the Carapace is up must be nullified. If the Lunar should run out of either Essence or Willpower, the Carapace hardens and shatters into thousands of tiny shards in an instant. These shards do no damage and will corrode to mere silver dust in a few hours.
