Kyumi was orphaned at a young age, and does not remember her parnents. She was adopted by a Thamaturgist, and trained as a Cursebreaker. Kyumi learned quickly and very well. But sadly, her teachings were cut short when her mentor died gruesomely. Her mentor was killed by a curse. Her bones grew massive spurs, and she bled to death in gruesome pain. Kyumi set forth to discover who was creating the curses. She followed the cases to Thorns, where she was attacked and raped by an abyssal. She cut his face to force him off her, and crawled away. He had bled on her face, and when she washed the blood off her face, she found a mark remaining. By which he hunts her now.
