From his perch on the mainmast, he can see the usual business of the ship as well as some of the activity between the dry dock and the library where Kaizoku, Suda, and Auspex are in some boring strategy meeting or other. Saji and Kurushka are out in the harbor in a skiff, making a more careful survey of the harbor and marking and evaluating all salvageable wrecks. Shen has taken his personal boat and is likewise charting the reefs outside the harbor, noting all safe routes as well as possible. (It's noon of the day after the night in the tombs. You've had time to rest, and are only down 1B. All Essence is replenished, as well.)

There, he starts the essence-engine.

Monkey swims back to the Unconquered Sun, and for Kurushka's sake, chooses the opposite side of the ship from the undead. Climbing up, he congratulates the crew. "Good job, sailors. Now let's head back before the Admiral realizes we're gone."

Monkey sails the Unconquered Sun back to its previous berthing spot. As he does so, he gives instruction to the crew to find some good cable in the hold to replace the mooring. "Hopefully he won't notice," he murmurs. As he heaves to back at the spot, he draws a deep breath of relief. "Good, he won't notice the damaged mooring cables." Turning to the crew, "Alright people! Drag the carcass somewhere where it won't offend our noses and eyes! Then dispose of it. I know! Use it for target practice. Chop chop, get to it!"
Monkey then goes to the library to report "a slight disturbance", not bothering to mention little details like snapped cables.

Admiral Kaizoku stands up from the table as Monkey enters, disrutping the intense conversation.  "Report, Monkey" he says curtly, hands spread over various maps and plans.

Admiral Kaizoku straightens up and steeples his fingers.  "And was it actually an undead river dragon?" he asks insightfully.  "That is one more reason to clear the shadows from this place."
Monkey says, "I didn't take a close look, Admiral. Stinks reaaaallly bad. "
Monkey says, "Besides, with the rotting and everything, it kinda look like one, but well, can't tell for sure."
Admiral Kaizoku says, "I trust you made sure there was not a lair full of them, in that case?"
Monkey says, "Of course. If there was, we'd take care of that minor detail too."
Monkey says, "Anyway, what have you decided after having this strategy meeting, Admiral? Are we heading back East?"
