Personality Notes

Mira is compassionate and tough. She has a knack for dealing with people and the intelligence to exploit it. However, she has an aversion for personal danger that she strives to hide from all but her closest associates. Mira is a born assistant, and excels at bringing out the best in others. She is not a particularly good organizer, but is skilled at smoothing over conflicts and communicating.

Biography

The bastard offspring of a Dragon-Blooded family that is prominent in River's Reach, Mira was shamed in battle and cast out about half a century ago. Since then she has wandered the East, making a living as a messenger and an aide to merchants. She has worked with the Guild more than once, and has ventured from Calin to Harborhead and all points in between.

Primary Aptitudes

Combat: Average. Though quite fit, Mira has little training in combat. Nor does she have the will to enter into combat unless absolutely necessary, and will avoid battle if at all possible. Her favored method of battle is to snipe, mounted, from a distance – usually in support of doughtier warriors.
Diplomacy: Good. Mira is skilled at dealing with people, and has the intelligence to capitalize on what she learns. Furthermore, she's very beautiful, something that often gives her an edge. More than once, she's secured a deal by distracting the mark with her looks and her skill with the flute.
Espionage: Average. Though she has no training in cloak and dagger stuff, Mira has a natural intelligence that allows her to adapt to it when necessary.
Leadership: Average. Mira is a good lieutenant, but not cut out for independent leadership. She needs someone to provide a master plan, from which she can work out the details. Her people skills balance this a bit.
Magic: Average. Mira has the usual mastery of Essence for a Dragon-Blooded of her age, and is quite intelligent, but has little interest in the hidden arts or medicine.

Loyalty Estimate: Good. A born follower, Mira is loyal by nature. As long as she and those she loves are well-treated, she will be steadfast. Threatening her homeland or her family, or calling attention to her cowardice would all risk this loyalty.

Assignment: Currently acting as Si Lu's personal assistant.

The Guild factor in Tanjing owes Mira a few favors. In Weyth, she saved a young noble's life from an assassin. Though the debt is long paid, they still communicate and he keeps her informed of politics in her homeland.

Followers

Mira is aided by her husband, Candor, and by One Song Lacking, her nanny. Both are mortals. She also has two daughters, Amin (age 5) and Mosti (age 7).
