Amulet of Shape, Artifact 3

With the Charm Gift of Shape the Lunar can entirely remake a mortal, making them younger, stronger, and more beautiful than they were before. However, the Charm is limited by the need for the Lunar to commit Essence. The Talisman of Shape removes this limitation. The Lunar removes a strand of hair, which must be braided into a small amulet. If a mortal, Exalt, or Fair Folk wears the amulet and commits 8 motes of essence, the Charm Gift of Shape is maintained indefinitly without the need for the Lunar to continue to commit essence. In effect, the holder of the amulet has taken over maintence of the Charm. Alternatively, the amulet may be tied around a hearthstone of rating 2 or higher. The Hearthstone provides no other benefit as long as it powers the amulet. Note that while the bearer of the amulet pays for the charm, the Lunar still controls it.

Manufacturing an Amulet of Shape requires relatively little occult skill. Its high Artifact rating is due to the difficulty of finding a Lunar who knows the Charm.
