DK Paths for DKs living and working in Yu-Shan.

5 paths, one for each Bureau of Destiny

  • Each of the first 5 Path abilities relates to one of the Auspicious Abilities for the relevant Sidereal Caste
  • The capstone ability involves the acceptance of the Maiden of that Bureau and "initiation" into actual Heavenly society, with social status equivalent to a low-ranked Sidereal. Salary and Celestial Manse caps come off. The actual ability itself requires a prayer strip, and is on par with Sidereal capstone Charms.
    • This implies the existence of a sutra for each as well. I think I like that idea.

Some ideas for Golden Barque:

  • Ability to go without food or rest for one day, 3 motes/1W, maximum activations in a row equal to Path, Essence and WP for all activations remains commited until you stop using the ability entirely
  • Some kind of vehicular activation ability (DKs don't Ride per se, but small-craft control is a Ride effect, and they certainly did like to fly)
  • Possibly a bonus to controlling vehicles, and a bonus to vehicles in which they travel? That would cover Ride and Sail both... kinda...
  • Maybe they're able to Throw weapons into a dematerialized state, allowing them to bypass armor and/ or defenses? Maybe they can throw themselves the same way, arriving in Yu-Shan or elsewhere?

More as I have time...

The actual Point Value of an Allies 1 heroic mortal in a Solar Exalted game, based on statement that one dot of Allies is equivalent to "a starting character."
+5 Attributes - 20 points
+3 Abilities - 6 points
+9 Favored and Caste Abilities (based on Prodigy Merit) - 27 points
+10 Charms (assuming Charm cost for God-Bloods [7] reduces to 5 for Favored Charms) - 50 points
Essence 2 - 10 points
Essence channeling (based on Awakened Essence merit) - 5 points
Exalted healing, soak, etc. (based on God Body Merit) - 10 points
Anima power (based on Anima Power Merit) - 3 points
Visible anima (based on Aura of Power Flaw) - -4 points
6 fewer bonus points - -6 points
Total
121 points

(Note: the same basic calculation applies for God-Bloods, less 8 points for their Heritage Power [assuming that Half-Caste are intended to be balanced against the other heritages].)

Possible implication: every dot of Allies is worth approximately 120 bp. Kinda makes the Enemy Flaw a bit more intimidating...
