Fluff

Born to a fairly unimportant household of Ragara, Jei was raised in relative isolation. His almost-almost-quiet childhood has given him, for a Dragon-Blooded socialite, a positively antisocial demeanor. He has little patience or sympathy for the shallow, petty intrigues of court, for all that he excels at them. He is a compulsive packrat and petty thief, and hardly ever visits somebody without palming some spare change, food, or shiny bauble he knows won't be missed. He is also tightfisted, miserly, and greedy, and will go to inordinate lengths for relatively small monetary rewards. In one memorable example, he shoved his teacher in primary school into a gigantic mud puddle so that he could walk across her back and retrieve a single jade obol he had seen under two inches of muddy water. Which he still hasn't spent.

Physically, he is tall, but not unusually so, and gaunt, but not unusually so. He is compulsive about bodily hygiene, but his love of exotic foods means that his teeth are still yellowed and crooked, despite the best care. His skin is tanned and brown, like bark. His eyes are blue. Not sky blue, not sea blue, not the dark velvety blue-black of the midnight sky. Just blue, and as flat and emotionless as a lizard when he is calm.

He is a good liar, almost never shows emotion, and is a total pervert. A fairly successful one too. If he makes a crack about your mother, he knows what he's talking about.

He has a green jade grimcleaver set with a Healing Stone, and a black and white jade hearthstone amulet set with a | Tiger Eye Agate.

Occupation-wise, he works for the Most Splendid And Just Arbiters Of Purpose, as a mid-ranking functionary who works primarily on the Isle.
