Garden/Ceragan
This is the character of a new player, not only to my campaign, but also to Exalted in general. Any suggestions on how best to introduce him to the game would be gratefully recieved.
As he's new to the game, and I'm starting him off with a 250xp character to put him in line with the other characters, he's asked me to draw up his character for him. This means, that while there is a background for the character, it's all fairly loose as I didn't want to get in the way of him fleshing it out once he's got a handle on the game and the character.

Character Description
Ceragan was born, grew up, and still lives in the city of Amerlin in the far east, though prefers to spend most of his time wandering the surrounding countryside. The city was always fairly peaceful, pleasant dealings with local spirits, the occasional wyld barbarian incursions that were easily dealt with by the local militia. Five years ago a more organised beastman tribe raided from the wyld, wreaking havoc in the surrounding villages, and finally setting upon the city itself.
It was during this onslaught that Ceragan exalted in a blaze of golden light that filled the night sky. Within minutes the attacking beastmen were either dead or fleeing, Ceragan's arrows having cut through them like knives. Using his newfound powers, he rallied the terrified troops and set off after the retreating beastmen, decimating their remaining forces. In the years to come a shadowland formed on this fateful spot, where not only many beastmen were slain, but also many citizens of Amerlin as the beastmen had rampaged through on their way to the city.
For the past five years, Ceragan has remained as protector of the city, his status as 'Anathema' now accepted by the people. Thankfully, due to it's remoteness there is little contact with the Realm, and so little danger of the Wyld Hunt, but every so often a traveller from the Realm stops by and the people claim ignorance of any 'Anathema' in the area.
But now the threat from the beastmen is all but gone, and Ceragan is beginning to find himself limited by staying in Amerlin. He's itching to travel the world and expand his horizons, but realises that to do so on his own would be foolish.

- The city of Amerlin (going by power level should be more than one dot, but he's going to be going off travelling now, and a city is fairly sedentary so won't be able to provide help when he's thousands of miles away.)
